lady-isobel-barnett
Who is Sheed? (st Mirren 1979 game) I was very regular back then and never heard of this guy I remember him as a Killie player. Never realised (or forgot anyway) that he played for us. LE BGM
Ronnie Sheed ended up a Senior Manager in the Strathclyde Roads Department.
stillresigned
These are around the time I started going to mFirhill by myself, particularly remember Jim Melrose's goal against Celtic, Oh happy days when I was young and full of hope. spandau
My recollection of the Rangers game is that it actually finished 4-3, not 4-2, and finished around 5 o'clock for some unfathomable reason. Also remember my uncle reining in my celebrations on Maryhill Road until we got back in the house.

JeanieD
Ronnie Sheed came to us after a long career at Kilmarnock - First game (August 1978) he scored the winner for us at Motherwell; second game came on as sub and laid on a late equaliser against Dundee United.
