  1. Sorry, I meant to quote the OP. I was talking about the train times. Edit to add - The bus timings you quote appear to be to Inverness, not Dingwall.
  2. I can't remember the exact timings but you leave Glasgow at the back of 7 and get back about quarter to midnight.
  3. May I ask a very important question? How much is a pint in Dubai? I'm passing through at the end of April.
  4. Straighter to the point on National Rail enquiries. Perth - Inverness Flooding near Kingussie means trains cannot run between Perth and Inverness. Because of the anticipated poor road conditions, replacement buses will not run. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/today.aspx
  5. Dyer doesn't seem to know if he's a Cockney or a Dubliner these days.
  6. Haven't been to Fir Park for a while and never by car, until tomorrow. Anyone know where's best for away fans parking? I remember the buses used to park on Orbiston Street but not sure if they still do or whether cars are allowed to be parked round there?
  7. They allowed Barry Ferguson to manage the team for 20 matches. If that's not total disregard for a football club I don't know what is.
  8. Up for the cup? Hell, yes! I'll take relegation for us to lift the Scottish Cup.
  9. I'm not quite sure if you're agreeing with me or not but I think at that time the first goal may have been legitimitely ruled offside as you didn't have to be interfering with play.
  10. I may have my timeline on offside wrong but I reckon the first goal may be legit nowadays but was correctly ruled offside at the time.
  11. The difference between the Dens Park scenario and today is that the stand was full today.
  12. I think you're actually spot on. The mentality is that us v St. Mirren isn't an all ticket game. I genuinely think you're 100% on the dough. As far as I'm aware most people took their own seats at the challenge cup final too. Not a big stadium, granted, but a big occasion where normal rules seemed to apply.
  13. When I was starting to read the thread I was thinking the exact opposite. I have regularly turned up at Hampden (West Stand) right on kick off for Scotland games and not once has anyone been in our seats. Similarly, I don't recall any of this happening when we played Rangers in the cup at Ibrox a few years back. The notion that New St. Mirren Park is somehow a free for all despite tickets having a seat number on them seemed to start either on here or the Fellow Jags fans facebook page and grew arms and legs from there.
  14. 17/11/73. Tonight was our heaviest defeat against the jungles since then.
  15. How are supporters going to get to the supporters bus pick up points? The game is at Firhill, by the way.
  16. Where to? Firhill is handy enough for plenty of good pubs, which I feel is important in the grand scheme of things.
  17. Celtic are playing a league game on Sunday 26th so it's a pretty safe bet the game will be on the Wednesday.
  18. Baffling. I felt the same with John Baird season. Delighted that we signed him then it all pretty much went tits up.
  19. The story was that there was a bit of soapy at their opener against Hearts, who were given a bit of the Broomloan Front as well as the usual corner bit and the polis then decided 'we can't be bothered with this' and slapped a restriction on the number of away fans. Not sure if this only applies to league games or not. There is a guaranteed minimum of tickets (5% of capacity?) to be made available to away fans I'm sure.
  20. I was hoping to have a home game on the Saturday as we have friends from down south staying with us that weekend for the games and the plan was to squeeze in the game before they go egg chasing at Snake Mountain, but hey ho. As has already been said, plenty of good pubs in the city centre for anyone going over. The Crown, Robinsons and The Beaten Docket is a good 3 pub crawl on Great Victoria Street for starters. One thing, jif, is footy in NI not still pretty much taboo on a Sunday?
  21. Does last season's ticket not state 'Season 2013/14' or something similar?
