  1. I always rated Steven mckeown.
  2. That's my worry Colin. I fear it was probably the latter and what annoys me the most is no real, solid communication or explanation from the club, as far as I'm aware. I am sure these DVDs would have shifted no problem, the nomad community for a start would certainly have purchased in their droves.
  3. Would love chris to stay but sadly, mainly due to the fact he is on a lengthy ish deal at tannadice, can't see the snake even thinking about mutually terminating his contract as that would be the only way a return would be possible.
  4. Missing today but listening to Bbc Scotland n billy dodds saying he thinks this will b a lot closer than previous results suggest. I agree with him today will b a battle just hope we get a wee bit of luck especially with county n st mirren playing each other.
  5. Defo don't want to have a go Lindau just your comments made me think. You say if we go down Archie's job has to be looked at. What are your thoughts on the point that it would be too little too late to review his position after the horse as bolted so to speak. Many have made the point that going down this year really would be a death wish, not in terms of the long term future of the club but with regards to any aspirations we have of becoming and established top flight club. I'm genuinely interested in your thoughts.
  6. I am sick to death of these happy clappers who just week after week make excuses n duck away from the real issues and problems. Sick of it
  7. My thoughts exactly willjag take one of erskine or higgy off for Aaron.
  8. Days like today just confirm we r gonna finish 11th. Say what u like blame luck etc but losing 2 Late goals from a position of strength is simply inexcusable
  9. Good move for young Liam. Hopefully he gets some game time everytime I've seen him I've been impressed.
  10. Happy with these signings just what we need
  11. Surprised by this but good to see Archie getting rid of the passengers n freeing up a wage. Gifted player but just didn't kick on from last season. All the best in the future Ross.
  12. Huge credit to Archie for taking action re Baird n Kerr. Granted they were his signings but even the greatest managers make bad signings. Buaben would be a decent signing.
  13. Oh my god this has made my night !!! St midden signing novo would surely make them the laughing stock of the country lol. As a previous poster highlighted, they seem to have real problems in their squad. Annoying that we sit down there struggling to shrug off teams like st mirren n county who can't even beat hearts. Surely the boys must be up for Saturday now with killie n county facing each other!
  14. Never got going with us unfortunately. Agree with some that he is a good 1st division player and that's prob bout it. Glad to get him off the wage bill despite the payoff, agree with others that we may need to bring someone in just for cover for Doolan n taylor
  15. Not necessarily tactical errors?! Playing two young, inexperienced boys in midfield who couldn't rustle up a crunching tackle between them wen you've got an experienced campaigner in Kerr in the stands? I'm not saying Kerr is the answer far from it but would have been the better option. While still on tactics why not play Doolan up with Taylor from the off? We all saw how Taylor was treated Saturday and the poor boy looked isolated last night till Doolan joined him.
  16. Judging by your post its clear to see you don't make many games. Tactics are good, really? How do you reach that conclusion when our manager refuses to change the formation when it's clearly not getting points? I nearly fell of my seat with the erskine comments you are honestly having a laugh there. The guy slotted back in last night and it was clear for all to see that he was our only hope for a goal with his creativity, not his fault he was surrounded by muppets like odonnell n Craigen n Fraser last night. Put him on a pedestal?!?! Are you forgetting his contribution last season?
  17. Have to agree that our midfield certainly defensively just get swallowed up. That was a very mediocre st Johnstone team if it wasn't for may they'd b struggling in 11th of that I have no doubt. Sad day wen that lazy fat slob lee croft dances past McMillan like he wasn't there, the guy looks at least a stone overweight. Erskine I thought looked like he'd never left but felt really sorry for him as he was trying everything but he can't do everything on his own. I'm sick to death losing goals because players r afraid to put in a fecking tackle, balatoni is a good top end first div player nothing more. Mair looks solid enough but felt sorry for him alongside balatoni and as for odonnell, yet another one like Craigen still living off last seasons glories, he's virtually stopped trying to take on a man these days. We will finish 11th, we are mixing it down there with streetwise teams who know how to survive by the skin of their teeth, we don't. However I'd fancy us against any of the 1st div teams tho.
  18. Well another toothless performance at home. Archie really needs to produce something, anything on Saturday because its our last real chance for a while to get three points. The three games after this don't make pleasant reading and we will b lucky in all honesty to pick up a single point. I think we would benefit from a change in manager but let's all face it, there's no chance the board will sack Archie.
  19. Yeah but he's proved that despite the increased wages it hasn't worked out at all and as he says he needs to kick start his season. Plus if we retain our top flight status maybe we can offer him a bit more obviously nowhere near what he's in but this is a classic case of it not always being bout the money
  20. Quick point from reading his tweet earlier where he uses the hash tag coming home, suggests to me that the move may very well become permanent in the summer.
  21. I'd like to see Archie trying to come to some kind of mutual agreement with Kerr. No harm to the guy he's just not had or not gonna get a look in at all. Even with our injury problems he still doesn't get a chance which tells us Archie doesn't rate him. I'd like to see Baird out on loan getting some game and see what happens there.
  22. Amazing news made my day I respect the united supporter's opinion but as many have said sometimes a club n player just fit and that was erskine with us. I said at the time he was being foolish moving up there given that he was untried at this level. He is very much a confidence player and I felt that a season in the top flight with us would have done him the world of good. He has Six months to make up in terms of his development etc but I very much feel that he will simply come back and slot in where he left off Could be the final missing piece in the puzzle if he can produce some of the goals from last season. Wasn't that fussed bout tmrw nights game but am absolutely buzzing now and I think this news may just add a few to the gate !
  23. We've started scoring more goals now. The fact we r leaking goals at crucial times is a defensive problem or am I missing the principles of the game?
