Spot on. Unless there is some decent money getting put into the club we will continue to be a mid-table 1st division team with increasingly dropping crowds. It won't be long until we drop into division 2, or worse, go bust. It doesn't help the crowds that we now have nothing to play for and it's only January.

What happend to the Roma Gypsies we donated old strips to, I'm sure we could boost attendance figures by another 50-100. Also, without sounding harsh, I don't think they should be allowed in for free, we are far too kind when it comes to trying to get people into Firhill. The club however rarely does anything I feel to keep hold of the current fans and offer them special deals, too busy trying to get fans into the ground and not caring about those already there.

They can't afford to let this slip past, this could be a great marketing opportunity, and a great money spinner for the club.

Good point, was our last player to come through our youth and make it not Adam Strachan, and we all know what happened to him. I'm probably wrong though.

Falkirk are the exact same, all the teams in this league will mostly be filled by young players coming through and experienced journeymen. There is very little between any team, so I wouldn't necessarily say we are punching above our weight.

Also, can I ask why the Herald as labeled the league position as "punching above their weight"? 4th place, although respectable, is where we should be aiming at as well as trying to push into the top 3. I didn't know we were relegation candidates.

There is no way with the money we would earn from selling Firhill that we could build a brand new stadium, I really don't see a viable way out of Firhill but do agree we need a move, the state of the stadium is embarrassing and it's only getting worse. Unless a sugar daddy comes in there is no way we can afford to move.

Exactly, you can't comment on something you didn't see, it's also his continuing happy clapping about all things to do with the club, I wish I could see the club through his eyes as we can seem to do no wrong.

Agree with needing to score first, struggle to remember the last time we managed to break down an organised team when they sit in, we will score first thought so no worries. No chance we will go down, Ayr, Queens and Raith have that covered, we will finish between 4-7.

Ah, ok then. Agree with everything there apart from me being manager at Blackburn, they are far too small a club to match my ambitions.

As I don't know him personally, I am only going on what my work colleague is saying, but he is definitely hoping to move back here so you never know. He will probably be looking at a few clubs up north.

I heard a rumour that Twaddle is unhappy at Rochdale (manager hates him) and is hoping to move back to Scotland. Supposedly he is looking at Thistle to try and get us to sign him. Don't know if we will sign him though, always thought he was decent at going forward, although he ducked out a lot of 50/50s. Source: Guy in my work is friends with Twaddle.
