  1. There was a match, just over 43 years ago, when we played 4-2-4 and it did confuse the hell out of the opposition
  2. Just emailed them to tell them about what we do! [email protected]
  3. Not sure I would describe you as a Mancunian
  4. Yes. Means further for QoS supporters and not straightforward for others. Thank goodness I might not need to travel home that night.
  5. My first Thistle game was away at Brockville. The Motherwell game was my first home game! You are so right Denis was unplayable and my favourite all time Jags player.
  6. I am just interested to see the published accounts inc Balance Sheet and Profit and loss account. What is wrong with that?
  7. Is there any chance of the full set of final accounts being made available?
  8. I was thinking about what a successful SFL3 manager earns
  9. Just wondering. What would the manager of a SFL Div 3 manager be likely to earn as a salary?
  10. I think newco should start in the bottom tier!
  11. I am in favour of larger divisions with decent promotion relegation possibilities. Two divisions with regional below that seems popular, but could not be enacted 2012/13 season (any changes would be diffcult for 2012/13) as some teams would be relegated without the opportunity to compete. The worry with newco going to the bottom tier seems to be financial meltdown. I am only throwing the following in for discussion but if the bottom tier for 2012/13 was the second tier? Suppose two division for 2012/13. size 20/22. At the end of the season 4 down (or whatever) and 2 up. Then we have a top tier of 18 for 2013/14. The relegated clubs + the top 14 make the second tier. Below that regional. Future promotion relegation first to second 3 up 3 down (could include a play off) second tier to regional not sure. Just a thought as I wait for the SPL vote!
  12. If newco start in the SFL3 and progress through the divisions then we will be likely to have the financial benefit at some stage along with many other clubs in Scotland. Putting them in the SF1 improves cash flow for a season but long term loses so many die hard Jags fans. Which makes commercial sense? I have just realised that Clydebank Jag has made the same point in the other thread earlier.
  13. Anybody who saw Roughies dribble against "them" for Scotland at Hampden 1976 will know that he also has more than decent footwork.
  14. Engerland they never learn do they (fortunately!)
