I worried a bit when I read Paterson's comment about getting better players in, if we stayed up. I wonder if some of the team reacted to that in a completely negative manner. However, had big Lyle scored we would have won. We're in a bit of bother now.

On reflection, if we stay up ,I'd keep the lot of them. They deserve another crack at it next season. Every single one of our players have tried their best and given 100%. In 40 years that I've been going,this is one of the best Jags teams I can remember. I loved the class of 75 and 76 as well. Joe Craig, Somner etc.

We need to pull out all the stops to keep this guy. You can see the difference in the team when he's in it. Doolan,Taylor Higgy and Erskine all must stay!!

That really was a shocking display from the ref. A total shambles from start to finish. It was great to get the goal in the end and all the more admirable due to us having to play against 12 men all afternoon!

What a great night that was! Most drunk I've been in 30 years.I hope we all can arrange something after the game that keeps us up. Think that would be an even greater achievement than last season with our young manager and team. Bring it on!!!!

Off to Peebles for 3 days. Then getting dropped at bus station in Peebles on Sunday to get over to the game. Everyone needs to go to this if possible! Come on The Jags! !!

They were a right nasty bunch of cheating, diving idiots. I was thrilled to see us give them a good stuffing. Might be slightly controversial here, but I'd much rather have the likes of Falkirk, Morton and The Pars in the league rather than that lot. And I too would vote for Blackpool Jags. Well said Islay Jag! Remember when section b came onto the terracing incognito and then stormed the shed. Great fun! My view on all this is, yes Beattie should have come out originally and said, we need the dosh, so we need to move folk around for 1 game. I'll be there to spout lots of vitriol towards that mob. Can't wait! In the late 70's we were stuffed into the enclosure, with a few hardy souls standing in the shed totally surrounded. I remember really admiring the bravery of those chaps. Let's all just enjoy the game and have a laugh!
