  1. He has not scored for Thistle (despite having the best chance of any Jags player this season handed to him on a silver salver at New Love Street). And that's what counts.
  2. The club made the same gaff with the infamous Aberdeeen abandonment of 92-93, when the game was stopped after 54 minutes due to snow. In its infinite wisdom it chose to charge full price for the rearranged fixture, which many, including myself, boycotted as a consequence. (Those of us who stayed away got the better deal as we were duly sheep-shagged 0-7.)
  3. Great!! Now let's take that winning feeling into the rest of the month!!
  4. Yeah, but Boyd 90 + 117 will be along soon.
  5. Crap. We need to stop talking it.................
  6. Do not care who wears the armband so long as the points are delivered.
  7. This, It's our own fault we are in this position. It's our own responsibility to get us out of this position.
  8. What? No Focus at Firhill? HANG THE DJ.
  9. Frank Coulston and Ray Farningham. Kris Doolan rightly joins them as Jags Legends. Every one of them a gem.
  10. That's not luck. That's organisation!!!
  11. Well at least it wasn't a humping. We cannot continue to give cheap goals away, indeed ANY goals away, given our lack of penetration in the last third. To be fair to Kerr, he broke up the play very well, but his distribution let him down and them some. Welsh added some much needed fluency when he came on. We need another outlet, as we cannot rely on Higgenbotham all the time. Elliot was good and could be that outlet. He won't come up against a player like Reynolds every week for sure. Gabriel was MoM by a mile. That kind of performance is what he's capable of. Taylor-Sinclair was well below par on the other hand. Head elsewhere clearly. Ach well, at least we are not Hearts or Motherwell this weekend.
  12. The obvious stat is that we are leaking goals. And no twisting of stats changes that fact.
  13. Duncan Ferguson had a previous criminal record for assault, which is not the case with Gary Fraser.
  14. Gilks qualifies to play for Scotland, and successive managers continue to pick him and he turns up. He comprehensively removed any doubt about his dedication to the cause with his performance in Skopje, m'lady. Time to let it go.
  15. Whilst your general point is valid, I cannot allow Don McVicar and David Byrne's abilities to launch a long one to be lost in it.
  16. If St. Mirren and County both win their next game it would be one hell of an achievement.
  17. I remember seeing Ronnie scoring the same free-kick against the East End ugly sister at Firhill in 1974. And for good measure he slid in another one later in the afternoon for a 2-0 victory.
  18. Scott Fox punched a corner into his own net v Hamilton at Firhill two seasons ago.
  19. Banzo was howling tonight. You or I would have done better.
  20. Agreed. But what evidence is there that he is capable of influencing anything anyway?
