Seemingly been keeping tabs on a couple of our players for the last 2 months. Both players that have been supposedly watch are still under contract, so I think something behind the scenes are being planned by the spl/ sfa to get rangers signing ban overturned.

No offence taken, but I'm not totally stupid/ naive/ignorant to believe that every transfer is carried out the correct way, as above. What I was highlighting was Lawless has not been tapped up and a bid has not been placed cause it cannot be placed till June. I know this 1 million%. So the op has started a rumour on the most important week of our season, 2 out of the 4 players mentioned may have had talks as has been reported in the press recently. The rest of the story is absolute bullshit.

But it is in Lawless's case FACT!!!

1st. They need to contact the club and make an offer to see if they are allowed to discuss terms with player. 2nd. If the offer is agreed then they can speak to player. 3rd. If player accepts terms then bid goes through. 4th. None of this can be done till June . If any of the above is done before June then severe rules have been broken. None of the above has happened with Lawless.FACT

This is fact......man utd,, Swansea, Birmingham, west ham, half of the championship, most of the 1st div in England, all the premiership in Scotland, have been watching Lawless, SOD, muirhead, Bannigan. None and I mean none have made any bids for any of our signed players, because they can't till the window opens up. The only players that can talk to clubs are the out of contract players. So to say Lawless has signed something with united is total bull. What I would say is , if any English clubs came in for any of the above, they would be mad to pick a Scottish club over any of the English, simply for job security and financial security.

Tell that to the players that it's a waste of time. Most of these players have never won a medal let alone play in a final. If it matters to the players and club, then it should matter to every thistle fan.

Would any of the players mentioned above get into the present team?

A really big ask and if you do win all your games and pip us to the title, you will have deserved it, but as you say we have to slip up else where if we slip up to you's, that in my eyes is a bigger ask. I don't think we will lose 2 games in our remaining fixtures, but time will tell, lol. This question has been asked of this team all through the season, and they have answered it superbly each time of asking. YES this team of hungry youngsters can handle any pressure thrown at them. It's not the 1st time this season we have been top, and the only reason we weren't for a while was cause of the cancelled games.

Seems all the pressure is now on Morton, now you have to win 90% to all your games, especially if/ when we win our game in hand. As I said on an earlier thread Morton have to play most of the teams at the top of the league away, whilst all the so called harder games for thistle are at home. Can Morton now handle the pressure? The reason that I brought up an injury was cos you suggested in your 1st post that lawless Forbes and welsh go hiding when against strong physical teams, you didn't say under performed, I've not missed a game this year, home or away and NONE of the players you mentioned have hidden in any game. Yes they may have under performed, but hey ho they are human and cannot perform to their best every game. Also 2 of the players mentioned have both broken legs and broken cheeks playing football, and both have got hearts the size of a lion and would tackle Goliath for the Thistle cause.
