Btw thanks for the video clips Camallain and Brodie Boy. I couldnt make it along today so great to see. I thought the Everton fans yesterday were top class. Always stopping to have a chat and share stories. Some of them seem dead committed in terms of following not only the first team but the next XI round the country. Airdrie fans? Hardly got a word out of them...

Yes I'd imagine the wages that the Celtic XI and Everton XI boys are on must be seriously in excess of our budget. Makes the two victories all the sweeter!

Welsh, Bannigan, Lawless and Muirhead were good. But we did lose our fluency after the triple substitution when Erskine etc went off. But overall, some nice football.

Presumably the easiest way to clear this issue up is for Mr Beattie to give an unequivocal 'I voted NO' statement when he returns from Spain. Then the Club can pursue a retraction from the Record. And as we have a PR expert at the Club, presumably she can be drafting the statement ready for Beatties return? Sounds all too simple, huh...

I'm presuming that Mr Beattie will be happy to answer that question directly at the next 'Meet the Board' evening. Besides by then, no doubt the Club will have contacted the Daily Record to correct their factual inaccuracy (assuming it was indeed incorrect). All still a bit mysterious me thinks...
