  1. Are there any at Firhill? Trying to get a bit of a crowd along on Saturday, however one will require to bring their wee baby with them. As I've never been aware of any was just wondering if anyone knows for certain? Thanks
  2. Hi all, Apologies for not responding sooner, but I've not been on the forum for a couple of months. Anyhoo, There are a limited number of tickets left which can either be reserved by emailing [email protected] and collected at the kiosk on Saturday, or just pop along and see us. Tickets are £5 (same as last year) and the night starts at 7.30pm with the presentation probably about quarter past/half 8 depending. @Fredthecheesecloth - can you confirm who you have emailed as I've responded to all ticket requests that I've had and obviously I would like to know if someone hasn't responded or passed on your email. Cheers
  3. Well in my eyes this is more or less the point of the Trust (in money matters anyway) though we are also looking at sponsoring the a ladies team that the commnunity coaches are looking at setting up. As far as I know they've had a couple of training sessions already so hopefully there should be more news on that front soon!
  4. I'm sure their ego's will in no way clash and everything will be rosy.
  5. The Jags Trust are organising a race night, taking place on Friday the 2nd March in the Aitken Suite, with a 7:30pm start. Tickets for the event are priced at £3 which will be available from the Trust kiosk before the next two home matches against Morton and Ayr, or by contacting any member of the Trust Board. Horses will cost £2 each and again will be available at the kiosk or by contacting any board member. The last time we held a race night it was very well attending and a good night (from what I remember!) so hope to see you all there!
  6. Well, it looks like they have taken the quotes about the 'Membership Scheme' and put it together with...I';m not sure what and come up with his sub-committee idea. Don't think Beattie has ever said that we wouldn't move away from Firhill either.
  7. Should be good this week, given that I'm not there to ruin it!
  8. We tried this with the Count LB, Morrison for a couple of games last season after some kids down the front randomly started booing him. Great laugh but he actually played pretty well!
  9. Wait, does the Manager of the Month curse still apply?
  10. Just finished The Iron Heel by Jack London. Esentially the precursor to 1984. Pretty amazing considering it was first published in 1908!
  11. Thought I'd forgotten about a game!
  12. That was in the cup though so doesn't count for the 'Irn-Bru SFL Division 1 Manager of the Month' award, as far as I'm aware.
  13. Jackie said that he is "coming in to the squad" so presume that he is available but dunno what the rules are. I am also doubtful of his ability, but basing my predictions on Jackie's comments.
  14. Injured according to 'feeshal site. Looks like Burns might be on the bench so maybe Stewart will start in place of Dargs.
  15. Merry Christmas all, see you on Boxing day!
  16. To be fair, our box is so old it still has NTL on it!
  17. We have indeed tried turning it on and off again though this was clearly not going to resolve the issue. Called them up last night, and lo and behold "turn it off and on again"..eh..yeah...thanks. 5 minutes on hold and we are now awaiting our new box to be delivered tomorrow morning.
  18. Anyone else on Virgin having problems with their tv? Says all channels are unavailable and an error code. Also can't get on to their website? EDITED TO ADD: Internet and phone both working fine so not sure what the problem is.
  19. I said the same thing to him when he told me that! I tihnk he might have....
  20. Does this mean that if he's not fit by the time we next have a qualification game the Scottish Sun will have a picture of his stomach and we'll all need to lick it for good luck?
