  1. Bookies though, usually give a bit of favour to the home team for odds purposes. But i'd agree there shit home and away right now.
  2. Had a wee read on the Hibs forum tonight, they actually seem quite confident and keen on trying to get a big crowd in attendance... Not sure how that will go considering some left before half time against Hearts. But I'm surprised at the belief.
  3. Only the home advantage gives them that I think. Although still a bit surprised to see it.
  4. If we start well and go all guns blazing an early goal could be possible, Hibs have lost a lot of goals within the first 15-20 mins of their games in the later stages of this season. After watching the replay of Hibs v Hearts yesterday I can see why, awful defending at the start... But they definitely were a lot better in the second half.
  5. The young Hearts forwards are coming on well, would rather them than Boyd. Paterson and Carrick starting to play well.
  6. I think by the sounds of it they were unlucky today and Hearts are looking like their young side is really playing well together. I think it's going to be a tough game, hopefully the pressure gets to them though. But I think regardless of the result today it was never going to be easy.

    Higgy

Not seen the replay, but from where I was standing that was never a penalty. Higgy not at fault.
  8. I think the boys need to just close players down quicker, we sometimes let teams move in our half too easy and it's cost us. Soon as we got the ball on the ground against killie we were far more dangerous. Does anyone know what the deal is with Jim Goodwin, I thought he was sent off and due a ban. Does an appeal mean he can play until that is concluded, baws if it is, he's been good for them. Few nervous beers the now before heading down, telling myself even I we lose we're guaranteed at least a play off game, but hope it doesn't come to that.
  9. Could barely speak after the Killie match, same again! Due giving this team a doin.
  10. Erskine has been amazing, him and Taylor have had a big impact with goals and midfield creativity that we had been lacking. Man I hope he stays!
  11. Still nerve shredding at 3-1 up! More alcohol needed!
  12. Don't change it Archie, things are fine!
  13. Man had only finished jumpin around the living room sat down and 2-1 jeezo man... Can't believe I'm not there today!!!

    First Game

What an opener! Couldn't believe when I read that this morning, man I hope we win!!!
  15. I think we were singing stand up for the baby shed at one point... Not sure what else.
  16. Thought that was a wee bit much as well, lighthearted banter would have been plenty I think.
  17. One sexy polis was great stuff, I think the majority of the stand were singing... Couldn't even hide her reaction which was even funnier.
  18. Is this a wind up? Disturbing, really? It was a title party, last home game of the season, trophy lifting etc... If the police and stewards wanted to stop people running onto the pitch i'm sure they could have and may have even had a bigger presence.
  19. Thought he done great job this season, always a bit sad to see someone who you've enjoyed watching during the season depart. Hope he finds a decent side for next year.
  20. What a day today, the draw felt like a win after being 3-1 down! When the third goal went in I nearly lost my voice, possibly the loudest i've heard it all season. First half looked so easy, when the goal went in I thought we'll have this no bother. Dunfermline played well in the second half and we defended poorly, caught on the break far too often without realising the potential for danger even though the warning signs were clear with the chances they had before the goals. But great attitude and determination to get another couple of late goals to keep the good run going!
  21. Used to drink with Iain? Had heard he was a good lad. I never met him, but his sister spoke fondly of him. Played 5's with Ian Ferguson once or twice, also worked with him occasionally. (The one that played for Hearts.)
  22. Just read the comments on the Facebook page, pretty arrogant stuff considering we weren't far behind with games in hand. Pretty damn funny though.
