  1. There is an argument that all teams are in the same position so starting again at short notice doesn’t advantage or disadvantage anyone
  2. Had just about got over that... How many chances did we have to win that shootout? 3? Pretty sure Hardie had a chance and possibly Kenny Milne?
  3. No chance we start playing at start of Feb. Only possibility could be the lower leagues start up in April/May and play through the summer months. The top leagues can’t do that because of the euros
  4. To be honest the only reason I’d be happy for the leagues to be called would be to see Roy McGregor have to “take his medicine”
  5. Lights yes but heating no. Quick check of the forecast shows that on Wednesday 13th Jan the temp should be around 5 or 6 degrees
  6. Game will be off. I don’t believe there’s a rule that USH has to be used if available. We won’t be losing any money with a rearranged fixture and it will allow us to get players back. Does Ruddens suspension move to the next game or the rearranged Clyde game?
  7. Bet the Forfar chairman is delighted he voted the way he did to get a big crowd from us at station park. I for one won’t be purchasing the stream. Hope others don’t either
  8. Any professional footballer should be able to hit put the ball over half way up the goal every time. If it’s between halfway up and the bar you will score virtually every time. Why players still go low amazes me. Also not enough players go down the middle
  9. Have said this for years. We lose far more late goals (that directly influence the result) than we score them
  10. McCall mentioned one the radio that someone would be going out this week. Mansell?
  11. What’s the odds Hearts and Thistle get 14 away and 13 home games? No doubt luck of the draw
  12. So you won’t go to any cup games at Firhill or (never going to happen) a Scottish cup semi or final at Hampden?
  13. I very much doubt we are signing players without McCalls approval
  14. In any other walk of life everyone would get round the table and sort this out. We don’t want court action nor do Hearts. Dundee Utd,Raith and Cove now dragged into it. The whole organisation faces massive financial crisis if we win the case. surely just all agree to a recon and move on.... Not in Scottish Fitba
  15. Ah but that would mean Cove would still be in the bottom tier of Scottish football despite being promoted! Never understood why no one ever mentions it as still only two away from the top...
  16. The kits for other teams are not what they have released
  17. If Hearts win their case and get compensation we would need to chip in for that compensation (Hearts May give ourselves and Stranraer a share back) if that happens we sure only have to take legal action similar to that of Hearts
  18. NI and pension in August 10% plus NI and pension in September 20% plus NI and pension in October no word as to what happens after that yet
  19. Hopefully correct. Why though would Kelty have a meeting with their players? I appreciate they would be up a league but why a meeting?
  20. If this does go through the fear of a compensation payout has been the reason. Nothing to do with sporting integrity. Where would it leave Fox and Zanatta?
  21. Except Doncaster and Co don’t have the money to pay out. This is why he is now desperate for the recon to be voted through which it won’t be
  22. All well and good but if we avoid legal battles and Hearts and Stranraer win a case and get paid compensation then how daft will we look.
  23. If there are teams willing and able to play then they have to be accommodated. If not it is a clear restriction of trade
  24. There’s more to this. If Hearts go down they will almost certainly take legal action. This, in all likelihood, will delay the start of the league season (August 1st) and if successful (other countries have suggested they would have a chance) then they could be due a fortune in compensation. This compo would have to come from the other SPFL clubs. At this point we would likely seek compo as would possibly Stranraer. Clubs may see reconstruction as the only way to get clarity going forward and avoid this potential financial outlay. Any lower league clubs who vote against this (I can see Forfar being one) have absolutely no interest in sporting fairness and integrity and are only interested in their bank balance (bigger away crowds form ourselves and Falkirk)
