We pay for using various training already so there is no additional cost....it’s like you have a mortgage on a flat for £100 a month and somebody says see for the same money you can have this mansion....Thistle fan no thanks

The training facility has no impact on or anything to do with the scouting system or the first team !

Our first team isn’t a bus .. can’t afford passengers

Our current squad has : Bannigan , Penrice, McCarthy , Fitzpatrick and Wilson who all have come through the youth system ... that’s pretty good so far

The training centre will be the base of the first team, the academy and the women’s team and has been specifically designed with that in mind. all clubs try to have a mix of developing young players and player recruitment , this is our version and will make us more attractive to both groups and we become a big more of a grown up football club only thistle fans would see this as a negative !

IMO it was always going to be a tough season we were/are on a downward trajectory

Good to see the clear out of Archie’s dreadful player recruitment continues hope we can now bring in 3/4 in January

Actually it might as challenging for promotion isn’t actually getting promotion .....on actual historical results relegated teams generally do not go straight back up ( of course there are exceptions but they are exceptions )

I worry about some people on here .... 1. The training centre is being built for us by the Weirs it is literally costing the club nothing 2. We then lease the facility for the same amount we currently pay to use the various training arrangements we have 3. The advantages of a dedicated trading centre with training, fitness, medical aspects etc should be fairly obvious It’s the best news we have in the current s### !

Any analysis of relegated teams in the championship tells you it’s highly probable we would not be promotedwhich is why I thought we would finish in the bottom half.....what no one expected is how bad player recruitment has been and how badly established players have performed its clear Caldwell has had a bad start but unless you think someone else could perform way better with the squad - imo Archie and Caldwell both struggled with them - then you have to give him time

Who is the muppet who interviews Gary ? He said on the match reaction interview ... a disappointing result but an enjoyable match for the fans ?!!!!! . ... Gary at least had the honesty to say it was a poor game and we were shit

Well I was at the game and I thought we did ok we passed the ball well , the defence looked solid Christie was ok, penrice was poor where we struggled was in the final third as the midfield was good with bannigan outstanding I’m not sure what else people expect with this squad ? Storey had the ball wide all first half and did nothing with it as usual I’m more optimistic after today

We were the better team and I thought showed some good signs ... a game we should have won the goal we conceded shows the panto season has started bannigan best player by a mile there is hope at last
