A lot of argument and counter argument. What cant be disputed , we have went from being a club that looked like establishing itself as a long term Premier league team, to a team that could suffer double relegation in the space of less than 2 years. This has been caused by mismanagement in both the boardroom and changing room.

Agree. If our board have given Caldwell a 2 year contract with no way Thistle can get rid off him, without it costing us a fortune, it would be complete incompetence by the board.

Agree. LIB is a forum member I like to read, as I have always found them to have a balanced point of view. This post is imo a very good barometer of where the club is at the moment. When posters like LIB have no confidence in the manager it really does show that we are in trouble.

Was always just Robert, Eunice and myself on Christmas day. We used to phone both sets of parents and then just relax and eat. 2010 we lost Eunice's father , in 2012 my mother died and 2014 my father died. So today it was just Eunice and myself and we phoned her mother and brother. We relaxed, ate and watching the telly. Just spoke to my Brother in law who is also a Morton fan and he said the exact same thing a 0-0. I told him they will win 1-0 or 2-0. We will have all the possession and more corners than them, but they will score with the only chance or chances they will have. But the Morton manager will say we are the best team they have played.

Everybody who enters these sort of competitions are not doing it to win, but to put money into the club. So whenever the winners are known it should be made as easy as possible for them to get their prize, no matter what it is.

I said at the time and I will say it again. Sacking Archibald was the easier bit as his record was so bad over the previous 18 months. The difficult bit was getting in the right manager to take the team forward. So far our results suggest they have not done that. If he has a 2 year contract with no clauses at all about league position, results or a probation period our board has failed our club and dropped it in the brown stuff.
