I think now is certainly the time to change captain .We have zero leadership on the pitch. Conner Sammon is is the only guy I can see who fits the bill. Leads by example and is very vocal too. When an on loan player bawls out your club captain for not getting up and chasing back, as Sammon did to Osman a couple of games ago then that tells you all that's wrong with the attitude of the players . The lack of an obvious choice outside of Cerny is symptomatic of the type of player Archie has always signed. Basically nice guys that wouldnt say boo to a goose.

The easiest prediction in Scottish football today was that Archie would start Osman and he would play sh1te. It's just astonishing how many times Archie repeats the same mistakes again and again. I consider myself an Archie fan but I doubt he has the managerial ability to get us out of this. The squad is stale and so are tactics. From now until the end of the season it's a battle for every minute in every game. We have to up our aggression and intensity levels massively . Watching the Well Tarts cup game made me think our team would have folded like a pack of cards in a situation like that. We have a team of nice boys who are going to have to became a squad of angry men to save us now.

This is a last throw of the dice for the manager and possibly the only one he can make unless there is some other unattached player out there/ Not signing a proper midfielder in January and relying on the injured players coming back in and performing at a good level, has backfired enormously as many said it would. So many mistakes and worse still the repeating of mistakes have been made.

Felt as deflated after that as iv'e felt all season. A very avoidable defeat and very poor game management from manager and players. A couple of old failing came back again ,the standard of our crossing ,on the whole is grim .Some of our corners are embarrassing. We continually crossed the ball from far too far out as well. That wasn't helped by Muzzy being unable to get past his man the whole game. We need to go through the middle more , we are an easy team to defend against when we play like this and despite some good passing and build up play in the first half the final ball and cutting edge were rarely there. I thought some previoous comments about of fitness were exaggerated but I think now that there is a general stamina problem in the team. Many of our wins have been when we've went ahead and then sat back and held on for grim death with less possession than the opposition and I think this may be a reflection of running out of steam late on too. If Archie can keep us up this season it will be a big achievement.

again 55% to county and a win for us. Is this the way we are now set up to play by conceding possession and territory and draw teams up the park to leave space at the back of the opposition. As Lenziejag highlights though we seem to have more possession in the first half of games but our style and tactics always seem to change second half or even if we score first. Cant say our time wasting from the start of the second half was entertaining though. If an opposition team was doing that we'd be going mental. I really didn't enjoy that aspect of our game and if we are resorting to tactics like that to beat ross county at home then we have a long way to go.

The back 3/4/5 were very good today.Thought lawless was stoic in his unfamiliar position and Barton is a thousand times better back there. You could see his confidence returning as the game went on and he was starting to find his own men with longer passes again toward the end. Is this what we are now becoming? A team that purposely sits back and concedes possession and territory to win games. Can be pretty awful entertainment but at the moment needs must.The first goal seems vital to us. Sammon and Doolan are a good partnership.hope archie playsthem together more often.

If he plays Barton in the midfield Archie needs a boot in the baws.

watched it on a stream.Same old same old repeating of failing tactics. Everything ends up going wide.Sit back way too deep and invite the opposition on to us, aimless punts back to the opposition from defense .shite from Devine at the goal . Some of the stats for this season are absolutely shocking.Despite being at a lot of the matches this season I never realised we were really as awful as that. Something major must change. It's pointing to one of our worst ever seasons in the top flight/ No wonder attendances are plummeting .

I seen that interview and thought it was very telling and revealing. I've heard archie say before how much he likes to stretch teams by playing the ball from one wing to the other and given what Barton said it seems like that is his role . The frustrating thing now is he hardly ever makes a proper forward pass. It slows the build up and lets teams back in numbers to defend.Barton is a huge problem in the team at the moment but it may be as much as what he is being asked to do also. The fact he shits out of so many tackles probably is due to his injuries but he is only going to get a more serious injury going in for tackles half hearted and with no conviction I cant believe.how long we have just continued like this all season. His interview on Jagzone too said a lo.The Guy seemed if he was really hurting and confused about what else he can do.

Just watched it on Alba.Utterly insipid performance from the team in what was the biggest game of the season.The insistence of us hitting the ball from wing to wing is ****1n killing us.Go through the middle for god sake .Zero pace once Storey went off and we cant do the basics of closing down and picking up players. These players aren't good enough to play the system archie wants. We are still trying to play as if we have two attacking full backs who can cross when we have Turnbull ,who couldn't cross the road and McGinn who cant get up the pitch,Dreadful from team and manager.

I just looked it up on the bbc reports. Watching the Dundee game on Alba just now and I can see why the possession stats are correct. We are having a long spell of of possession and doing nothing with it.Every move ends with a Totally ineffectual long cross. . We are playing toothless possession football
