  1. I was quite sad. I went on to the tickets page and added up the seats in each section. We obviously lost some seats putting in the hospitality and ambassador group. I counted 5,475 in JHS and 2,010 in North Stand.
  2. It looks like in total there are about 7,500 seats(7,485 if I counted right) between JHS & North Stand( not sure if that includes Directors;Ambassador Group;press). So depending on how many ST holders make it plus pay at gate folk, we are looking at over 7K tonight. My previous estimate was based on 8,500 home seats.
  3. A guy at work was buying tickets on line for JH. Said there was less than 10% availability - although still plenty in North Stand. Could well be getting closes to 8,000
  4. And counts or doesn't count in this comparison ?
  5. Was Hibs goal at Easter road not a punt from about the halfway line and 3 of our guys kind of just stood and watched ?
  6. I think anybody that took that Job last year was on a hiding to nothing, irrespective of who it was. Now, the next candidate has it much easier. Has Martinez achieved anything yet. They might manage 4th spot, but it isn't guaranteed yet
  7. I understand what you are trying to get across - but it was 0-0. What is the top 6 secret for keeping the opposition out.
  8. It doesn't say on the PTFC site whether there will be pay at the gate for St M on Friday. Does anybody know ?
  9. There were some that booed when the teams were read out!
  10. I think PT said that Saints were already selling their allocation a week or so ago and we have this new on line system where we can buy tickets in advance.
  11. Not every supporter goes to every game, but when it comes to the really important game, then more will try to be there.
  12. Butcher seems to have to admit his team are rubbish almost every week at the moment. Hope that doesn't change
  13. The team really worked their socks off today. It wasn't the best footballing display, but hats off to them all - they showed some real guts.
  14. It's funny how people see things differently. I thought he was a bit lightweight today and not involved, particularly in 1st half. I also thought that he gave up too easily when beaten.
  15. You are probably right about Taylor and Doolan. Against Hibs it was probably about 30 mins in before we started playing. Although, having said that we started well vs Hearts. I think for Taylor to be effective he needs to start a game well, otherwise he seems to get a bit frustrated. Off to the game now
  16. Can we do that now. How do we do that?
  17. Thanks Digger. I know it is impossible to reach everybody as not all supporters will buy a programme or read the club website. Are you able to use the clubs database to contact disabled fans, as well ?
  18. I am not having a go because it is Dundee Utd. I was commenting on the circumstances. Maybe every time you post something I am not interested in, I will tell you to get a life !
  19. For me it is definitely a loophole in the rules. If a club subsequently withdraws an appeal, there should be an automatic extension of the ban by at least 1 more match.
  20. I saw the notice on Tuesday evening, but it was too late to organise going to the meeting with my nephew who is disabled and an ST holder. Was this the only way that the meeting was communicated ? I think having a Disabled Supporters club is a great idea, but surely a day's notice is too little to allow for the maximum possible attendance?
  21. Dundee Utd have withdrawn their appeal against the 3 game ban their manager received before last weekends cup match at Ibrox. The appeal meant he could take his place in the dugout for that match. The withdrawal of the appeal means that he will be available for the final. Bending the rules or using them to their advantage ?
  22. A win for us and the other 2 draws will suit me fine
  23. I feel that this is most important away game of the split. Haven't been away this season - so really thinking about going. What's the feeling about how many Jags fans will travel ?
  24. It seems it's a no win situation for the manager, then. Good performances are down to the players, but bad ones are down to the manager. I am not sure I get the similarity between Dundee/Hearts and us - both of them got relegated despite "good form" whereas we got promoted.
