I don't think I could be without this forum and all who post on it been a constant visitor 2 or 3 times a day for a long time now We have come a long way since this forum started the promotion season was great we just kept going and this forum was always busy but the night we beat The jambos at tynecastle was my favourite didnae go to my bed for ages just sat on this forum and read all the posts wouldn't have been the same without this forum hope it stays would be a terrible loss to all jags fans

Today was a great result just looked at the fixture list this was the hardest celtic postponement not included all the next 7-8 games winnable and could go a long way to being safe for the season looking a lot better than this time last year

I really think the club should show they mean business and get these two signed on good deals what a boost it would be for the fans after banzo and dools extending their contracts.Both players shared the same digs and seam to get on off and on the pitch so here's hoping Archie can get this done for club and fans sake I think it would be a huge benefit in the season ahead

I think good for morale look at some of the great results we have had in the last 2 seasons he was always there remember when the Dutch bid came in we wanted him to stay some of the dross that played last season Baird etc I know Lawless will play for us

It seems every time I pick up a paper this season the same old story gets put out we are a better team than the table shows we have been unlucky have not got the breaks and the results we deserve but a couple of wins and we will be up the table where we belong Scot Patterson has said it Lee Mair Gary Fraser said it today we should soon get the results our play deserves but I just wonder are they right or maybe we are in the position our play deserves I get the feeling coming from the players is that it will work out in the end we are to good to be in the play offs but right now I am not convinced we are ready for the fight that,s ahead of us if Saturday is anything to go by I really think the whole squad needs to look around them in the table Hearts have shown in the last few games they know how to battle I know some folk will say they are down fair enough but they are still showing the fight Saints fought back on Saturday as well so its going to be a tough run in from now until end of season Last season we had so much belief in the team and the players fought for everything and showed great bottle even when Jackie left us the boys got behind Archie and made sure he got the managers job permanently I think now is the time for them to do the same as last season and get stuck in in the last 5 games on their day they are a great team but I think they are not consistent enough and really need to realise that there is not much difference between the bottom six teams and the teams that fight the hardest for each other will be the team that survives to fight next season I just its us we cant throw away all the hard work thats been done by this squad and the team needs to understand they are in a fight and time and games is running out

I would like to give my opinion for what its worth really don't want Archie gone been on the official site watching last seasons videos what a season that was team played some of the best football I can ever remember and most of all they played for each other you could see the sheer delight in the stands when wee lawless would score and do his dance and Conrad scoring with his head brought the same response and the bridge running at defenders was a joy even banzo was scoring from the edge of the box what I would give to have some of those times again but it just seems luck has deserted us at the moment The wife and my granddaughter came with me to the cup final and we were blown away with the support the team got that day we stayed on till the Wednesday game against Morton same again massive crowd tension right up to the final whistle will never forget the roar that greeted the final whistle I think we all realised we were going to be champions that night something else pleased me that night John Lambie was on the pitch about 10 yards from us always been my favourite manager I stay in Elgin so only get t caley and county games always got a blether with John before the game and he was great with the fans always took time to explain what game plan he had in some colourful language and usually got a result not always he best football played but John played to win the best way he knew he could get an extra bit out of a player and played different styles depending on the opposition I don't know how his health is but if Archie could pick him up get him In to the dressing room before the dons game might be the wee lift the players need to get that elusive home win I didn't think way back when we won against Morton it would take10 month and counting to get a home win I am luckier than most of the fans I was up at Dingwall and Caley to see us win both games and I will be back at both grounds to see us win next month hopefully still think we will be safe ever the optimist mon the jags

I still think Archies biggest mistake was letting Andy Dowie go I watched the must win game against Morton I thought he was without doubt best player on the park by a mile got involved all over the park just what is needed now somebody with a bit of experience to stiffen up the defence and get them playing as a team at the moment they seem to be leaderless at the back Conrad was first pick for my starting eleven every week but now he seems to be getting poorer every game either he loses his footing or gets turned and has to foul just not the Conrad of last season cant even head a ball this season missed an absolute sitter yesterday and I think its time he spent some time on the bench Good news about Fraser signing hope he can produce his early season form as we could do with a bit of spark in midfield now ozzy is out for the season I still harbour hopes that the Bridge will be offloaded by the Arabs and come back home what a party the fans would have well most of them

I have been a supporter of Partick for 50 or so years always supported from far off Elgin when we got to the ramsdens final decided that the wife and me would go we got 3 tickets and took my wee grandaugter Kera with us I know the score was a dissappointment I looked at the support that turned up and was totally overwhelmed old geezers like masel lots and lots of families all out in their scarves and tops singing and biting their nails at the same time and when we scored it was such a great feeling wont speak about the penalty shootout fair play to q o s they won met some supporters from q o s before and after the game they were great crack We were staying down in Glasgow for the week so there was no way we was going to miss the home game against Morton rolled up at 7 oclock at the ground the atmosphere when we saw the crowd getting bigger and the overspillfilling the north stand it was a great feeling the result was just brilliant my wife now realises why I am consumed with all things Partick Thisle my granddaughter has got the bug now and wont go out without her beanie ptfc hat and its just such a great time in our house I have seen some good thiistle sides in the past but none with the fight and determination to dig out a result and none moreso than when we lost our manager mid season I was stunned when Jackie left couldnae believe he could walk away that easy Thank you lord he did as up stepped Archie and Scotty who could believe what happened the whole team and supporters just got behind them still cant believe whats happened all those saturday and midweek games kept coming and so did the wins it was the best run I can ever remember what a team great decision by the club to make Archies job permanent and now we have won the league and lets be honest here its what we deserve we have a young strong team that works well all over the pitch going to be sad day when Cris Erkine leaves I have loved him for years and now hes at his peak hes leaving will miss him but wish him well thanks old pal Finally can I praise PTFC directors for having the vision to let the kids in for free going to be the best idea ever made by this club in the two games I saw lots and lots of youngsters all getting behind the team our future looks a lot rosier now thanks to all at the club for making this happen a very happy jags family celebrating promotion

sitting in the travelodge in livingstone with the wife and 11 year old grandaugter just back from a cracking meal in a pub 2=3 yards from almondvale stadium quite a lot of supporters in travelodge cant wait for tomorrow came down from Elgin taking in the final and then going to weymms bay for 4 days with family and friends sneaking off wednesday with wee kera my grandaghter to take in the home game against morton hope it turns out ok hey just no it will been a supporter for 50 years and I just hope this is going to be a great week take care all you jags supporters out there lets be positive 2=0 against qos 2 or 3 against the ton happy days

I have been waiting all week for highlights of Saturdays game to see the goal of the season from Erskine looked good on utube but cant see it on PTFC was it not on camera and if it was can we see it absolute cracker of a goal

I am waiting patiently for tuesday afternoon to try and get two tickets I phoned the club when the Sun said last week that tickets was on sale i kinda knew that the paper had got it wrong that the tickets but didnt want to chance missing out I spoke to Ian Maxwell and he said as usual the Sun got their facts wrong I had a wee chat with Ian and he seems to be a top bloke I asked him about ticket situation and he reckoned there should be enough to go round and he thought we might possibly get a small amount of Queens allocation I was happy then but when I see the demand for tickets I am getting very nervous now booked the travelodge for 2 nights in Livingstone for the wife and me if the tickets run out I will be gutted but am still going down to be there when we win even if it is outside I will be keeping my fingers crossed I get tickets In an ideal world I would have taken the package for 9 games and got tickets but I stay in Elgin and couldnt take up the offer but I am staying down until the wednesday after the final and taking in the game against Morton so after supporting Thistle for 50 years April could just be the best I have experienced as a jags fan cup winners and 1st division champions ah that would be something and the bonus of having a lot of local games next season ICT Dons County all within a 60 mile radius happy days PS will have to check ebay these tickets are going to be like gold dust

I just watched the highlights of the boxing day game on official site and I cant believe we lost that game if we get half as many chances tomorrowwe should win comfortably I am going for an Erskine double to get us back in the driving seat for the title good luck archie and the boys for tomorrow
