Agree with everything that you say. I thought that your initial post was a moan about sugar dadies in general. What the Weirs are doing is different to the norm, and I respect both them and the current club management for the way the money is being used. As you say, it does release cash for building the squad that might have been needed elsewhere, but I believe that the club would be sustainable even without any further cash from the Weirs (If they do want to spend a bob or two, I have heard that Ibrahimovich is looking for a new club. Might be the sort of target man that could do a job for us)

Not sure if this is the right place, but Killie have released Mark Connolly, Conor Brennan, Lee Ashcroft, Julien Faubert, Christopher Johnston, Aaron Splaine, and Alex Henshaw The club is willing to consider offers for Conrad Balatoni, Kevin McHattie, Mark O'Hara, David Syme, Tope Obadeyi, Dale Carrick and Kallum Higginbotham. Not sure there are any there that float my boat.

I'm not sure that you can have a "sporting penalty" like forfeitur of the cup. What would there be to stop a few Jambos, with green on, starting a pitch invasion to ensure Hibs don't win. Once a few start, the rest would follow. I do agree that something needs to be done

I can't see Duggan getting another deal from us. I think he is 22 now, so if he was going to make it he would have done so by now. Kevin Nisbett is more likely to make the grade

I have to agree and take this with a large pinch of salt. I would be surprised if Archie was wanting to finalise any deals, particularly for a likely top earner, until our top flight status is mathematically secure. That said, the source might well have come via Banzo's agent, wanting to flush out any alternative offers.
