  1. Just because the internet allows any idiot and unstable individual to write their opinions doesn't mean we need to give them the oxygen of attention. This cretin should be ignored completely.
  2. That's great. Whoever finishes first wins the league title and both cups at the same time. Also last goal's the winner in every game.
  3. So, did people simply wander in without paying anything back in the day? Particularly in the picture of Hampden, it doesn't look like there was much in the way of fences, security, etc, and what little there is looks like they would be easily surmountable. There's great pictures of a square Murrayfield and the old, old, old Wembley on the site too.
  4. Can I ask why none of these rumours have actually become public in the news? Especially if they've been floating around for two months? Or are the powers that be simply going to sweep it all under the carpet to avoid rocking the Titanic?
  5. If (and it's a big if) the new Rangers do start in the third division, will they still get much of a following from the Ersehole 'Loyal'? We all know they "don't do walking away", but I can easily envisage Ibrox sparsely populated when they're playing East Stirling. Obviously any team including us would still be happy with gate receipts from 10,000 fans twice a year, but will the new team still have a transfer embargo next year? Will they have to play a youth team? And how many players are going to spend at least three years in the doldrums working their way back up to the SPL? Though as you say they'll probably be at least Gretna level quality and there will always be plenty of mercenaries out there to take the dollar. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they couldn't do it straight away. I would love to wander around Glasgow as Super Ally's mob finish third in the Third Division. A man can dream...
  6. Surely, he cannot be worse than Murdo MacLeod, who makes me want turn aff my radio and chuck it out the bloody window every time he's dishing out his 'insights' on - inevitably - Celtic.
  7. Well, to be fair, at the end of the day, I agree. At the very least these phrases should be banned from 5live radio.
  8. Please be Morton's rolls. I'll buy another shirt if it is.
  9. You should have put a warning about Jim White's ugly, ugly coupon appearing in that link. Boak...
  10. Man Utd versus Man City right now - two goals already, dodgy red card, THIS is a cup game. Entertainment!
  11. Hey, we managed to force Culter to a replay, that must have been worth a pretty penny.
  12. I quite like open all mikes. I think it's hilarious. As I only have digital radio I'm quite irritated when they decide to put whichever Old Firm match on, and it's all heech ma haw on Radio Nan Gaiheal. Then it's back to 5live. Oh well, each to his own, eh?
  13. Does anybody think the players we have really give a toss about playing for a pish wee team like Thistle? I always remember that anecdote about Martin Hardie talling one fan "hard luck mate" when someone told him about being a Jags fan. All the players are just too good for games like this and can barely fit their egos through the dressing room door. Can anybody tell me I'm wrong? But it didn't look like any one of them truly gave a crap in the second half. Are they hurting today? Maybe, but they're still getting paid. I don't remember the last time I enjoyed walking up to Firhill and yesterday's performance just makes this worse. It's nothing about arrogance and 'expecting' to win games. It's the vacuum of entertainment and watching people who just don't seem to care at all. They should all go work crappy day jobs and find out how sodding lucky they are. Maybe we should finally bite the bullet, accept the inevitable and go part-time - I doubt the quality would be any worse, and at least we would see some real effort. I was planning on travelling to the Hamilton game next Friday but I really don't know if I can go through more of this.
  14. From all these stories of deid elephants you'd think half of glasgow is built upon pachyderms.
  15. A bit too early to talk about our opponents for next season... but I've never been to Pittodrie, I could add another scarf to my collection.
  16. I mistakenly thought it was Martin Lauchlan who scored that goal. It was 89 minutes of backs to the wall after that though, wasn't it?
  17. Really? That was at 46 mins according to the text updates on the official site. Should we have all just buggered off home as soon as we had stop applauding? I do think the team does have the obligation to entertain, or try to, at least. Maybe they should have let Culter score three; then at least we'd have something to shout about. Personally I think we should have hauled Doolan and Dargo on at half-time, to at least see what they could do up front. I don't think Dargo had enough time on the park, and barely any service when he was on.
  18. It's not very often you'll think your team will play that mince in a 4-0 victory. Culter couldn't be faulted for effort, but yes, the gulf was quite clear. I dread to think just how poor we actually were last Saturday. Good to see McNamara set the team up to go out and immediately start an attack from the off; getting a goal from it was even better. But yes, it wasn't brilliant, was it?
  19. A First Division preview would be handy if published in a paper soon. Have Dundee been throwing silly amounts of money about as before? How strong are Hamilton as a team? What about Falkirk?
  20. Schoolgirl 'stunners'. This thread is bound to end well...
  21. That is surprising. So he was talking a load of pish about himself and talking himself up to the high heavens? Shocking. What top flight football club is he playing for now?
  22. How long will we have to put up with yellow and red pinstripe (boak)?

Ugh, the lowest form of humor; regardless of who thought it up first.
