  1. 3 x SKY, I think! Its on official website
  2. There was always going to be weekends where we'd pull away, and be brought back a little. Nothing to worry about!
  3. Cant play overseas trialists in Under 20s games
  4. Fracas? Where abouts? I was up the back, behind the goal to the left of the camera and didn't see anything!
  5. Think you've misread his post as he was asking if he could go via Edinburgh... I don't see anything stopping someone going Glasgow- Haymarket-Perth. They'd have to go on one of the slow services that would stop at; Inverkeithing, Kirkcaldy, Markinch and Ladybank. Would take 2.5 hours to get there but would be worth it for avoiding the buses.
  6. My 2 pence in the Rhodes v Griffiths debate. Rhodes is undoubtably the better penalty box striker, but Griffiths does the "dirty work" outside the box which is required for the system Scotland play. Rhodes would thrive with a partner, but Scotland aren't good enough defensively to be able to play 4-4-2, even against "lesser sides". I think both have a future in the team but unfortunately for Rhodes he'll have to wait until we're trailing to see him spring of the bench. The best comparison I could give them is to Kenny Miller(Griffiths) and Kris Boyd(Rhodes) during the Euro 2008 campaign. Miller started most games, unless suspended, and Boyd started the home games against the diddies to fire the goals in. Both will be out on their backsides when Steven Fletcher get's fully fit.
  7. It's extremely walkable. Paths all the way to it.
  8. 4-2 win against Peterhead in 2008/09
  9. Douglas was in goals for our playoff game with the Dutch. Marshall was in goals for the 1-0 loss in the World Cup 2010 qualifiers where Weir slipped late on to allow Elia to score. Marshalls worst Scotland games were either Norway 4-0 or Wales 3-0
  10. This would have been a massive seller and there were lots of different ways we could do it; 1. Simple bog standard highlights DVD - £10 2. Highlights DVD, with full matches against Dunfermline(5-1) and Morton(1-0) - £20 3. Highlights DVD, full matches against Dunfermline(5-1), Morton(1-0) and the match of the purchasers choice - £25 4. The Ultimate Box Set - Highlights DVD, full matches of Dunfermline)(5-1), Morton(1-0), match of purchasers choice, fans reaction DVD(using amateur footage that is freely available on Social Media), a battle for the title DVD(showing footage of Mortons game too with league tables being updated throughout, starting from the 2-2 game maybe?) - £50 5. The Ultimate Box Set Limited Edition - same contents as Ultimate Box Set with a player signed booklet accompanying it. Make these a limited number to improve exclusivity - £100. 6. Copies of individual matches - £5 Maybe over complicating things but a memory set of the past season designed for all budgets.
  11. Or the other club hasn't signed the contract yet committing to the friendly? It could be the other clubs fault rather than our own....
  12. With the Motherwell game a possibility for being moved to the Sunday(They are in EL business that week, if they get through their first tie), then 3 of our first 4 games will be played on a day other than Saturday. Has there ever been such a run like that in Thistle's history?
  13. Is the issue not the massive penalty clauses for paying it off early?
  14. Was there not another one of those planned for this off-season? Hoping it's something that will still be going ahead!
  15. "It was decided, after consultation with the police, that away fans of all teams would be better off out of the main stand because it’s a wooden construction." Erm....
  16. Not if they only get the two sections down the North End that have been set aside for away fans.

    Pre-Season

Culture on a pre-season trip? No thanks.
  18. Well then every Celtic fan should be searched before entering the ground. Flares are illegal in football grounds, therefore anyone carrying one and attempting to enter the ground should be arrested. What sort of idiot lights a flare in a wooden stand anyway?
  19. I can see both sides to this debate, the club are, naturally, keen to maximise revenue from the Celtic game whilst the fans are wanting to support the team in the best way possible, utilising the North Stand for the home fans(afterall we did win 83% of our home games last season with it's backing). However, the club have done their best to maximise revenue from Celtic by offering them the Main Stand and part of the JHS. That should be all that they get. If they cannot be "trusted" to behave in the Main Stand, then THEY should lose the use of it and be given a smaller allocation, solely in the JHS. They destroyed our stadium in May, we shouldn't be rolling out the red carpet and inconveniencing our fans. Petition signed and e-mail being drafted.
  20. Please don't talk shite.
  21. Why? It's the players moment as much as ours, invading the pitch just means they have to leave and celebrate in the dressing room.
  22. Nonsense. We should be going to support our team, encouraging them to get it right up Judas Jackie.
  23. Gutted at the timing, but can't begrudge them furthering their careers. Would have preferred it, if it wasn't Tannadice!!
