Archie has now paid for Barton and Keown so its about time we pay for a decent striker. Love dools to bits and he will always chip in with goals but we are way too reliant on him and even though he is fit as a fiddle he ain't getting any younger.

Can't really class him as a signing as such but i will give you your Lyle Taylor hence why we are due another decent striker being signed. Apart from Lyle Taylor he has signed about 10 duds.

Today's and recent performances since making top six have been inexcusable and to anyone saying it has been a great season and to cut them slack just no! What happened to professional pride? Playing for the fans who pay good money? Or at worst showing a bit of passion. We are a good team, way better than recent performances would suggest but recent games make me think we have a severe mental weakness throughout the team with nobody willing to pull the socks up and roll up the sleeves and get in about it! Possibly the same issue that leads us to losing late goals and games in the dying minutes. The players deserve credit for finishing so high but just as they deserve credit for that they also deserve a rocket up the arse and criticism for the recent shambolic performances!

For me "meh" sums it up, we just ain't good enough yet to compete above where we are and like everyone else are miles off Celtic. But again some late goals, that is what annoys me most about our whole season regardless of how well we have done and something i hope is stamped out next year.
