  1. Completely agree, I would tend to put this down the timing aspect at least, to inexperience and naivety rather than some Machiavellian scenario. I don’t think it was handled the way any of us would have liked. However, the only thing the Club can realistically do is learn from this and move on.
  2. Couldn’t really argue with your assessment Sandy, at all. I think that most people expected the new board to behave rationally and certainly not like a ‘drunken sailor’. This appears to me capricious behaviour at best and puerile at worst. For me the time to change our management triumvirate would have been last weekend and yesterdays game would have taken care of itself. It’s never a happy situation when anyone loses their job and to lose it in the bizarre manner they did yesterday only magnifies the strangeness of the timing.
  3. The only thing I can say is this situation could only happen at THISTLE!
  4. Premier Sports is essentially a version of Currant Buns TV,
  5. I honestly can’t see us getting anything against this mob on Sunday. Just to make sure there’s no chance of a shock, the SFA are ensuring that VAR will be used and considering Rangers tend not to have decisions go against them it’ll be a shock of ‘71 proportions if we were to get a result.
  6. I’m afraid, that I won’t be going to sit and watch us get humped by that mob, without any real expectation of us laying a glove on them. In fact. Our performances in the last three games have been so dire that I won’t be returning unless there is a big change in the way we approach games!

  8. Difficult to remain in anyway positive, after that first.-half!
  9. One thing I’ve learned in over fifty years of watching Thistle, is that every time you think that you’ve reached a nadir? They can always get worse!
  10. Obviously you’ve never seen the luxury of our disabled toilets?😀
  11. I’m not someone who wants to see anyone lose their job, but difficult questions must be answered by our management team. Our results have continually deteriorated throughout the course of this season and I think todays is one of the worst. Comming on top of last week’s embarrassment, I do not see whereabouts our side are going?a
  12. Think we look ready to sink, we’ve been taking on so much water.
  13. To be honest with Thistle something is always wrong somewhere!
  14. Indeed we were one of many I can recall. 1979 any one?
  15. Don’t know whether to be happy or sad about this.Obviously the money will be great,, but is it worth the pain and mental torture of been exposed to 90 minutes of mindless orcs?😀 Very probably, but it’ll be a close run thing!
  16. No chance of that the winner of that tie will be a shoe in for a visit to Ibrox or maybe even Celtic Park?
  17. That was an experience I do not wish to repeat, has to be one of the worst games I’ve seen in recent years, which is saying a helluva lot. The plus point and a rather big one was that we qualified for the next round-end of.
  18. Not perhaps, the best performance of the season, but an absolutely vital win!
