  1. I'd take watmore in a heartbeat. Had no idea he was on loan last year. Thought he was a hibs youth. We looked decent e ough but sunderland were awful. Not sure about the centre halfs, nothin majorly wrong or right, just strolled through it. Big abdul looks decent. Christie sharp, keenan looked ok hope he handles the pressure well of being 1st choice left back now
  2. I find it hard to believe maxi is the only guy at the club who knows how to file the paperwork to sign a player.
  3. The club will be glad he followed through with his promise of leaving them his estate.
  4. Are you porpoisefully digging people up?
  5. I'm hopless in these threads i can never come up with a good pun, i'm like a fish out of water
  6. My expectations are that we'll be in a relegation battle. The current squad is weaker than the one that finished the season with no taylor, ats, ozzy, and mair, all 4 players would start when fit in current squad. So we need a good few players signed, and quality ones t that, before i'll be thinkin about challenging top 6. If archie can get us a few new bodies in that of spl starting quality, im confident we can avoid relegation and finish 8-10th.
  7. Spoke with joe chalmers mum at my work, says thistle could be a possibility for him, hoping to get his future sorted out with celtic soon. It would be on loan. He is a left back who was on loan at falkirk last year
  8. He's never stuck out to me, but if you are wanthing that sort of utility man, could myirhead not do that? Didnt archie play him there vs celtic at parkhead
  9. Good move for him at a club that have proven they'll give the boys a chance they sign from north of the border, only need to look at McCarthy's career, as well as McArthur who's a Scotland international. He's got an FA cup winners medal too as well as a Fraser Fyvie. So a good move definitely, we'll miss him next year he's improved every year and I hope Wigan give him a chance, wouldn't be surprised to see ATS in a Scotland jersey in the next couple of years, left back isn't a position we're flush with.
  10. The best first touch ive witnessed in all my time going to the games, class act. Lovely player. Dunno why, but ive got a bad feeling this is his last month with the jags
  11. We were really poor today in my opinion, how the hell we finished the first half in front is beyond me, 3-1 hibs would probably bave been about right, paul gallacher was tremendous. No outfield players really did much, that midfield is sorely missing the experience and leadership of ozzy, sitting so deep, ryan mcgivern carried the ball about 50 yards before the cross for the equaliser, we looked like the team with 10 men. Im getting married a week today, today is my last game of season, n i think im goin to be pretty nervously waiting on the score coming in, i can see us needing not only a draw but a win next week to avoid play offs. I do not fancy tynecastle, and i think county will beat hibs during the week.
  12. Joe chalmers left back from celtic is only thing i know we're interested in, on loan to replace ats. I work with his mum n she told me this. Hes on loan and doin well at falkirk just now
  13. Im having mini killie pies at my wedding
  14. I fooking love kallum higginbotham. Look what it means to him, outstanding
  15. Fantastic result. Gallacher excellent. Great save for the tip onto the bar, and subsequent clearance from the on rushing boyd. Mcmillan was steay. Mair was shaky at times but overall he and balatoni handled fat boy ok. Ats usual hard working self up on down the flank, great desire to get the winner. Bannigan steady enough, bauben at times looked good, then other times frustrates. Craigan erskine were hard working, if im being picky i'd have liked more from them attacking wise. Doolan hard working and usual sublime first touch. Higgy was different class as usual by far our man of the match. Cant wait for friday
  16. Fantastic win, gutsy performance, higgy sensational, runaway poty. And this is a bit out of character for me, but can i say a massive girfuy to all you moaning whinging pr1cks on here, who with all your complaining this season have diminished my interest in this forum to an all time low as i cant take reading your wining on a daily basis. I aint no happy clapper by any stretch, but jesus you guys need to calm down. Get behind this team!
  17. I like Taylor a lot, but I am intrigued by what reaction we'd get from benching him. Would also allow us to keep Doolan in the team who deserves it, and get some extra bodies in midfield with Bauben. However it's a game we really need to get something from, and I think Taylor forms part of our strongest 11, so maybe dropping him is madness.
  18. Gall is our most vocal player. This Thistle team, mainly due to age, is the quiestest I can remember. When I think back to Danny Lennon BMMMH Craigan's era, they were all vocal, even marko roberts. But this squad doesn't have many talkers. I like Gallacher so I'd keep him in, he's been in good form, our recent goals against is absolutely nothing to do with him. I like big Gabby and see potential, but he's been a part of so many hidings this season it can't be coincidence. I do see potential though, but maybe we need someone else for the run in, these 5 games are vital we don't have the luxury of nurturing a centre back with our survival at stake.
  19. I don't think Yogi will be told to throw a match against his nearest rivals, absolutely no chance. That said, I think Ross C will beat them tonight, just a wee feeling.
  20. Good chance Utd will be in Europe next year, so of course the big man wants to go back. Aslong as he plays well between now and end of season and helps keep us up I couldn't give a flyin fook. Hope he stays, and my honest gut feeling is he'll be a Thistle player next season.
  21. Yeh I remember this game, John "The Hound" McGoldrik went on a wonder run im sure and squared to big pizza delivery man keegan for a tap in. Or it might have been someone else other than the hound, we had another young striker im sure got a run about at the end of that season.
  22. Yeh I honestly hadn't looked at first division table all season, had zero knowledge of Mortons season other than the win at parkhead, until last week I looked at table n saw they were bottom with 16 points, could not believe my eyes. what a turnaround from last year, where they were lookin at SPL, to now, where they're lookin at league 1. Where they will miss the money from the rangers matches also, couldn't script it. ah well get it up them
