  1. Got a letter today with new st inside, saying that it didnt work at the hibs game so ive to destroy old one n use new 1. But it worked fine that night, so its a bit strange. Ill email club to ask them, but thought id see if anyone in same boat?
  2. If we keep this form up we'll finish season 40+ points-a superb return for newly promoted side. Few wee things needing tweaked, players a bit naive at times, but overall pleased and excited for the rest of season!
  3. Superb player, poty so far along with sincy Close thistle weir n get the big man on a 5 year deal anyone?
  4. U obviously missed the bit where he retweeted the original statement
  5. I cant be gassed quoting everyone to respond to u individually, but it looks like he's deleted the post, so thats why u have no idea what we're talkin about. I dont want any of our players in bother, but i also dont want lawless thinkin he's big enough to post that bullshit, questioning the managers selection in public is not appropriate. Ask archie to his face why you're not playin if it bothers you that much
  6. I saw that, i think it's out of order to be questioning managers selection on social media.
  7. Thought we gave them the win, im disappointed, on another day if we'd been a bit better we couldve got something. 2 crap goals to concede.
  8. The linesman sent craigen away as he said they hadnt taken the corner, doran wda never got near the box if craigen had been allowed to tackle him. It's a total non issue and non starter as far as controversial incidents go in football matches, which is annoying that sportscene tonight n terry butcher etc will say its why they lost. I would have been furious if goal had stood, as craigen realised what they were up to, went to close them down, was sent away by officials, as he felt corner hadnt been taken yet, end of discussion no goal get it right up yae
  9. Best - billy gibson free kick and subsequent penalty win. The thistle team was awful that year give or take 2-3 players, but the ecstasy i felt that day is unmatched in my 21 years as a jag. Worst- leaving gretna 6-0 under dick shambles with something like 5 35+ aged players on the pitch, i just felt we were in a irreversible decline n would never ever see the premier league again. Funny how best n worst occurred in same season.
  10. United evens on willy hill, couldnt bet against thistle but its buying money tonight imo. Hope im wrong obviously
  11. Was looking at the stats for the past 10 years inthe spl, usually a sum between 35-40 points is enough for 10th place. I reckon this year that the lower end of that will probably be ok, as it stands I do not see st mirrenand hears hitting more than 30 points on current form. So if we're to say on average we need 36 points, we're a quarter of the way there already. I could be wrong, but you never know, 30 points may be enough that year st mirren are that bad.
  12. Total domination in first 45, was brilliant. Second half started very poorly, killie looking dangerous. Got their goal n we went into our shell. We improved a bit later in game, particularly with the introduction of Elliot, but couldn't get the goal. Foxy played well, but Osbourne motm by a mile. No point in going over old ground, we know why we've not scored from open play at home in 4 games.
  13. I actually thought the ref had a really good game, but yeh that hayes incident was rubbish - if we hadnt been getting pumped i wouldve made a bigger deal at the time
  14. My guess is, given on archie's "it was a no brainer" comment regarding signing mukendi, is that we were offerred him for like £100 a week. Do you want to take a punt on a Liverpool reserve for £5k a year? It is a no brainer if the numbers are along those lies. But yeh I'm guessing he's gash given we ain't seen much of him. Hope I'm wrong.
  15. From the shambolic opening credits of Sky's coverage, to the absolute joke that is the bbc, coverage of the game up here is at an all time low. Bt seems ok so far, far prefer their pundits thou they're still pish. What's neil warnock know about scottish fitbaw?
  16. Yeah I've a feeling Welshy won't walk straight back in, you can't drop Osbourne, he's playing well.
  17. I happen to agree with the op to an extent. There have so many balls flashed in from sincy and o donnel that last year son of joe was tapping in. I think we would have beaten Hearts if he'd been playing. And maybe equalised vs Motherwell. Who knows? But I do think he would improve our options if we still had him, but we don't, got to trust archie, he knows what he's doing.
  18. Deserved the win, credit to the players for sticking to the plan and keep playing football. Sincy Craigen and Higginbotham best players, Higgy looks an inspired signing. I fcuking love this team. Thought Foxy should have saved the goal, but I am glad the boys bailed him out as he bailed them out vs Cowdenbeath.
  19. That was bad. Pass marks to foxy gabby higgy and the subs, other than that, poor. Forbes - motm? What game was that sponsor at?
  20. Along with m people "moving on up"and "beautiful day" (not u2) when we win
  21. Told the nautical college my mum had got a job with shell oil in qatar to get out of a course i was doin there, they were phonin me up fookin livid i hadnt turned up after they went to a lot of hassle to get me in, fair doos it was wrong of me. Id watched a documentary the night before about qatar, n when i answered the phone to them the next day it was the first thing popped in ma head, inspired! They stopped phoning after that
  22. I will believe it when I see it - the "if the deal is right" bit makes me think he wants more cash than we're offerring, so it could drag out. Bt yeh we need to get him and ats signed up but my gut feeling is both will be away next summer. Who knows a lot can happen in that time
  23. We were garbage 1st half, Motherwell too big and strong, we looked nervy and scared. Much improved 2nd half, especailly with the introduction of Higginbotham and Baird, both of whom must start next week. Osborne did well, as did ats, not much else to speak off. If we can play like we did 2nd half, i think we'll get somethin at st mirren.
  24. No point in bringing someone in unless they are better than what we already have...
  25. Next couple of games will be interesting. Yeh we're not the surprise package anymore - but you still need to stop us. Motherwell will come out and have a go, that won't bother us, maybe we'll have a bit of success away from home as we're good on the break.
