Hear, hear! The man has no shame. As you rightly point out they haven't been been missed by the vast majority of fans of other clubs. He seems to forget his role extends beyond being a cheerleader for Rangers.

I'm generally mistrustful of bands formed by Rangers fans and ACDC follow the template - simplistic 'tunes' blasted out at high volume by someone in a dodgy uniform.

Aye, I liked the old Bayview as well - I remember visiting in the '80s and taking a wander down Methil's 'main drag' prior to the match (I was too young to go to the pub) - half the shops seemed boarded up and it was by far the grimmest place I'd ever visited (although I've since being to Livingston). Also agree that game in '99 is a very strong contender for the worst game I've ever attended - watching the crane run up and down was more entertaining than what was happening on the pitch.

Met app says heavy rain won't start until 3pm on Friday - although it is possibly the most useless app I have ever downloaded - no wonder the BBC binned them.

Newlands - where Morrison's is now used to be Newlands tram depot - not sure if that settles it though... I've always assumed anything south of the railway bridge is Newlands - could be wrong though.
