I would not have a problem signing JT up for next season, but now he might be a bit more realistic about his 'worth' .....same wages as before and that's me being kind, I would be looking for improvement in standard on the park. In all honestly I think he 'needs' to move on or stagnate (which he has already been doing this season). ..oh and congrats to JT re the bairn!

Will check this out, but was he not President (or some other position of office) at the SFA in '71 as well as Chairman of PTFC? also Tom Reid was I believe one of the Reid brothers that owned PTFC and Reids of Partick..now Gallus at the bottom of Church Street. just a thought, I think he might merit an article in a programme highlighting his contribution to the club.

..........most religions know if you have 'brainwashed' (indocrinated) a person when they are 8 you have them for life (with a very small percentage change) how many of us have been jags fans since we were lads (or lassies) and how many are later life converts? .......although I must admit the (collossal) amount of media coverage for the OF and englandshire teams must make it difficult for youngsters to stay committed to the Jags cause.
