  1. Taking the goal out of the equation, he's still been p*sh. Boots it the way he's facing as far as possible, out the park most of the time
  2. No wonder Archie got rid of Muirhead, he is murder.
  3. It's ideal for me. I'm living abroad at the moment and I'm planning to do so for a good few years yet. When I was at home I had a season ticket and would drink in the Aitken Suite, buy half-time draw tickets etc..... I can't do that at the moment, maybe 4 times a season max., so this is another way I can put my money up and support the club. I don't want to be entered into any draws, win any prizes, or be placed in a tier which dictates what level of contribution you make and what you get for it. I'd much rather just set up a payment I can make every month, and that's it. Money goes to the club.
  4. Possibly the vendor himself under a different username? rather than lose face by cancelling the auction so late on
  5. It would cost a lot more than 150,000 for me to support Celtic in Europe I'm afraid. If that makes me small-minded, bitter or short-sighted then i'll take that on the chin.
  6. Hi mate, There are 3 of us in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (well, two of them are under the age of 2 and don't know they are Jags fans yet but that's beside the point) There's a thread further down about Jags fans in UAE. Think Eddie was thinking of a gathering at some point if there are numbers, maybe for a live game in the new season. Anyway, all the best in Doha. PS - Shuggie is your man for the Nomads information.
  7. It's easy. Choose a group of people to dislike, sing songs about them, sing songs about killing them. Create a siege mentality, where you feel that no one likes you. Create a paranoia where you believe everyone is against you. Once success is achieved; be smug about it, show no respect to anyone and treat anyone else with contempt. Choose a country out with Scotland to align ourselves with, support them when they play Scotland to further enhance the siege mentality. It works for others.
  8. I didn't think this thread could get any worse but I was wrong.

    Mcnamara

    His material was shite
  10. Here's the 3-2 win at. Fir Park. Only goal I remembered clearly before watching the video was big Willie's winner. For some reason the view of the goal from the opposite end of the ground stuck in my memory. Some support we had there that day as well.
  11. We are all used to their songs about ****** blood etc, no shock value in that. Think the addition of the word 'black' is what a lot of people found to be a new low. However, if we are all to listen to you then it's just a song and it should be accepted. Not sure who has said the word ****** was anti-catholic, you are correct, ****** does not mean catholic. What is anti-catholic though, is singing 'No pope of Rome........no nuns and no priests.....'. Just a song though so it's ok. Thistle fans are always singing songs similar to this at football matches??!! Not that I know of.
  12. I would love to see Motherwell get relegated.
  13. There is no difference between us and the h.uns??!! Are you serious? If so, there's no point in debating this.
  14. Richard 'the cry was no surrender' Campbell. Edit- Actually there's another thread for that.
  15. That Jimmy Saville song is offensive and in poor taste because there are a lot of people and families affected by a horrible b@stard, not because it may offend the Sellik fans. F*ck them. Couldn't care less if they are offended or not. I don't like the song, and don't sing it for the reasons above, not because the tims may be upset by it.
  16. Are you just going to keep searching for a sectarian/racist/offensive song until someone agrees with you?
  17. Pish from Eccleston. Take no notice. If the difference in training is so huge, he would have noticed a similar difference in reverse when he joined in the summer. Easy to come out with stuff like that when you've been released.
  18. I'm sure the authorities looked at our Hello Hello How Do You Do song, and it was deemed to be non-sectarian.
  19. Some good points made Jesus, and many I agree with. However, as much as I'm desperate for Archie to succeed, sentiment can get you relegated.
  20. I may be alone here but I thought it was a fair and honest interview. I'm not looking for an apology to make me feel better, I'm looking for the team to work hard and get through this patch, which Seaborne has stated in his interview. I have been critical of the manager in recent days, but I wouldn't use this interview to be even more so. It's a newspaper interview which has been edited. Base your praise/criticism on what happens on the pitch. On the whole a decent assessment from the captain, in my opinion.
