That should apply to quite a few on this forum. This is a thread that should never have started. For what it is worth I have no problems with Archie's signings, every transfer deal is a gamble. Where I do criticise him is for his inability to change tactics during a game. In regards to the Taylor deal I assume we are paying his wages in full, so he does not come cheap, if this is correct why did we not just match the offer Scunthorpe made him back in July.

I read that Dundee United want Paul Dixon back from Huddersfield. Does this mean S O'D will be sitting on the bench if he goes there. Another ATS situation.

There are those who love him and those who want him out but there is also a middle ground here. There are some of us who just don't see where we are going with this team. Centre of the defence is a nightmare and we have all seen enough of Muirhead and Balatoni together to know it just does not work, if you must play them then you need to go three at the back, perhaps a role for McMillan allowing SO'D to play a more attacking role. Bottom line is Archie needs to change his thinking, it is broken and it needs fixed.

Seaborne has missed 2 of the first 5 games and in both those games we lost to Hamilton and struggled against Morton. Yes we lost to Aberdeen but I don't think Seaborne was to blame. Come January we will have 5 central defenders if Archibald gives Lindsay a chance, can't see us signing more until we get rid of a few first. If Richards - Everton is as good as Archie thinks then I look forward to seeing him play alongside Seaborne in January.
