If this is the case then other teams should be aware that Dundee United cannot be relied upon to pay fees. For example Thickasthieves informed us that O Donnell could be valued at £80,000. Hopefully we can keep O Donnell anyway but if not then would Dundee United only likely to pay £40,000 then surely our club is looking to avoid any signings to that particular team. As mentioned earlier thought if we got the £80,000 owed then could get the likes of O Donnell on new contracts. Maybe this is what Jackie and Dundee United want though us financially not to be able to offer new contracts. Extremely poor show

I think McMillan is probably cup tied.

McMillan seems to be a highly rated defender, again if we can get him to the end of the season as back up and take it from there

I think Ryan Wallace has the potential to play at SPL level. Sign him as back up till the end of the season, remember we have a hectic schedule and see what he can do in the same way Archie is assessing Bobby Barr. Nothing lost. Also could do the same with McMillan and Gallacher

What happens to the Pars players if they enter admin and would we be able to take a couple if so just to help with the run in?

Nope they can pay to get in as well as far as I am concerned.Is their some kind of gentlemans agreement around the football world where scouts and other Managers get into games for free, as far as I am concerned any scout or Manager that is looking to sign up our players for other teams can pay for the priviledge of doing so. I really dont see why we should be letting in coaches, scouts, spies etc in for free to steal out players for a bargain Its not just us - plenty of vultures will be circling the cash hit pars right now - so why dont the Pars at least charge these people for viewing their players and at least make a little money for their financially stricken club at the same time.

Has Archie and Maxi not said we may need some cover with the hectic games schedule coming up, perhaps they have Bobby Barr in with a view to this

Think Huddersfield is far more likely than the teams you mentioned mate. We have to face fact that Huddersfield could pay more than both Morton and Thistles highest wage put together

even if his contract expired in May. He is under 23 so if we offer a new contract we are due compensation because of his age. Remember its already been posted on here by someone that O Donnell who is out of contract in May would still likely bring us £80 grand because of his age (i hope he stays regardless) therefore Bannigan would be even more. I reckon both are well out of Dundee United's price range for compensation

Lets not forget that this game could be a title decider. Therefore the crowd could be a lot busier than usual which may out a few hundred or even more onto the gate in both ends. Plus its our last home game of the season. So maybe the Pars will get a bit more out of it. I dont know about everyone else but I wouldnt have any problems if the Save the Pars buckets were out and raised a bit more dosh for them as well.

McNamara was a really good manager for us - but lets face it he aint going to do any favours at all for us now. Dont want to seem childish but can the club please make sure McNamara, Donnelly or anyone else from Dundee United have to pay to watch a game at Firhill now - no point in us doing them favours for free

The Pars will have difficulty holding onto their own players never mind looking at any other teams

Ive heard it mentioned a few times that the Manager of Queens Park is paid more than the Manager of Partick Thistle - something to do with them Managing the whole Community set up and also the fact they dont need to pay the players because they are Amateur. However it may not be the first time that I have been told a complete load of rubbish

We should not be taking teams for Granted remember Hamilton and Airdrie are fighting for their lives. Prior to the 2 games against them Under Archie we lost the last game against Accies and we only got a draw against Airdrie when Jackie was under charge. We won and got 6 points under Archie for all we know Evans could have been appointed and lost one of those games
