  1. Funnily enough, I actually quite enjoyed the game. Not sure why as the football on show was poor and the atmosphere non-existant, maybe it was pleasing to see such a pathetic Rangers side! Stenny tried to play football at times but most of the players lacked a decent first touch and their general positioning/awareness of team mates was poor. Things would have been so different if they scored that open goal chance before Rangers got their luck with Smith making a really bad error - poor judgement by him which was unfortunate. Rangers were a joke, no width and no imagination. Stroked the ball about the halfway line, one player tries to skin the opposition then a pointless ball towards the box. McCoist is a farce.
  2. Not according to the Caley game... Fox was well protected by the officials and rightly so. I haven't seen any examples this season where Fox has been unfairly impeded and he wasn't awarded a foul (that then led to a goal).
  3. Totally agree, very pleasing to see Craigen and Higgy linking up so well and assisting with another goal.
  4. I thought Thistle turned down the bid, rather than Lawless wanting to stay. Either way I want him at Thistle as he is an asset, just needs to recover his form which i think he will do.
  5. Mukendi played in one of the last couple of U20 games. I think anyway. Yes, he started against Hamilton on 15/10/13.
  6. Topic title is misleading, there are no reports that he has left or will be leaving, so far. Only that a hearing has been set for a few weeks time at Hampden.
  7. That is up to Archie and Shaggy...Do they choose to stick to their words about attitude and work ethics? Or do they give him a second chance? I said what my opinion/hopes are at the end of my post - I hope he continues to play with us.
  8. Horrible to hear and totally unacceptable behaviour. I believe players deserve a second chance, especially if they are promising and young. Hopefully they learn from such actions. I think Muirhead has learned from his moment of stupidity against QoS but this incident is far worse and appears to be less of a heat-of-the-moment instant reaction and more sinister, in my opinion. However, with Archie and Shaggy frequently citing player's attitude and work ethics as being of vital importance, I think Fraser will have to leave. Or at least never pull on a Thistle jersey again. If not, then our management are risking having double standards or not sticking to their word. You do have to question Fraser's attitude and character. I hope he learns and is given a second chance as he has real potential and think he could still help our team this season.
  9. I would take him on a short deal or pay as you play. What can we lose? We all agree we are struggling to score so why turn down a chance with a striker with bags of experience who has scored plenty SPL goals. The guy is at last chance saloon now so he may actually try and impress. I agree his attitude may not be idealistic but beggars cant be choosers. His goal scoring record cant be worse than Baird's and he makes an appearance almost every game.
  10. Took me 15 minutes to work it out, hidden away! On main screen, press R1 to go to "play", then click on "more", then on top right "tournament" box press right analogue stick to the right until "new tournament" is on, select it then go to Scotland and same as last Fifa.
  11. Pro, would really struggle to do that well on World Class! Scraped a lot of games and few of late winners.
  12. Worth it just to play as Thistle also nice to give the likes of Dundee United and Celtic a hammering!

I thought the Alba coverage showed Foxy sitting in the stand or dugout at one point? Maybe pre-match?
  14. I have played 21 games in the league so far, only one defeat, sitting 7 points ahead of Celtic! It is an improvement over Fifa 13, the dribbling and running is more realistic. Passing and shooting is also more life-like. With regards to Thistle, they have got the player ratings and attributes about right. I am finding Osbourne and Higgy are immense, Dools is really good and Muirhead/Balatoni do well. Kerr is normally decent and Forbes and Craigen are useful for me too. The only one they have got really wrong I think is Welshy, he is almost the same rating as Mukendi!
  15. If Killie go down they will be looking at Administration!
  16. Sell them alongside match programmes, I imagine many who buy one would be inclined to go for the other. Also, it looks more "official" if you are selling from some sort of booth/stand/table - just like some of the programme sellers.
  17. Archie seems reluctant to play our first team squad in the under-20s. The likes of Gaby and Kerr are lacking match practice and are part of the first team squad but barely (or never) feature for the under-20s. I am sure you can play two or three over age players and it seems silly that we are letting some of our squad get "rusty". I assume Archie is trying to avoid unnecessary injuries. I don't think it is purely to allow as many younger players to play as possible, as our recent under-20 game only had four players on the bench!
  18. I can't find any solid information on him, he probably never featured for Benfica first team squad and perhaps only Portugal at under 17 or something. Some Google searches found these... says he played for Benfica, shows him wearing a Benfica top and he is a striker, indicates he is 22 though: http://www.footballz...or.php?id=84560 http://www.football-...7-22315-11.html
  19. Preview online... http://ptfc.co.uk/te..._mirren/preview Looks like we have missed out on a signing target and one that may not be a free agent, interesting!
  20. There was a couple of Challenge Cup matches last year shown on Alba, we won both - home to Raith and away to Cowdenbeath, I think, 3-0 and 1-0 wins.
  21. I noticed that at County too, he sometimes tracks back but often charges in and almost commits a pointless foul. He clearly is attack minded/skilled.
  22. We missed Welsh's dig and grit for the second half against Hearts. Fraser is a great player but lacks experience, strength and a decent tackle so he needs paired with someone with those qualities. I would play Osbourne and give him his chance.
  23. Higgie does look strong on the ball and able to fight off a challenge and beat a man. Could be useful when playing more physical teams such as St Johnstone. Also, with Doolan/Baird having a little more pace they would possibly be more effective later in the game as players tire.
  24. Excellent news, I think Sean being handed the captaincy will have helped him decide. Really hope Stevie signs on now but I reckon he is waiting to see if another club comes in before the transfer window closes.
