  1. Thanks; fancy tweeting them to let them know they've arsed up the page ?
  2. The version on the official site has us with no home fixtures over the festive period, which version is right?
  3. Spot on, Auld Jag. Has enraged me for years seeing all the usual suspects engaging in all the usual dirty tricks, refs not doing anything about it and said teams profiting from it, while we scamper about like naive schoolboys wishing the ref would enforce the rules of the game for once.
  4. I have the 25/09/2010 one, you're welcome to have it. I previously successfully passed on a programme to someone from here via the following method: Let me know on here a day when you'll be at a home match. Assuming I'm at the match that day, I'll leave the programme with the programme-stall guys letting them know someone's coming for it. They pass it on to you for their usual donation price. Worked like clockwork last time.
  5. They're replicating all existing ones with an inside tile, existing ones stay outside where they are. You can choose if your replicated tile goes in JH or JL; if you don't contact them to choose it'll go in JH by default. Those without an existing paying to get a new tile get the same choice, presumably.
  6. The club's focus on kids has been a strength for several years now; have been to the Xmas do with my kids several times over the years and it's always been a brilliant event. It and the start-of-season training/signing event are top-class fan involvement events.
  7. Quite; hysterical tabloid-style nonsense, 'Oh, what must they think of us ?' The answer is they don't think of us at all, Scottish football is largely ignored the world over (as is every other small country's).
  8. So we're stronger than at the start of last season, when we made a dreadful start. It's surely more relevant that compared to the end of last season, presumably our benchmark for what we want to achieve, we are a centre-back, a right-back and a striker down. All 3 need replaced.
  9. Where can I find you pre-match at Aberdeen game to pick mine up ? Thanks a lot.
  10. That article is flim-flam, they didn't 'wipe out' their debt (which they had run up after years of spending what they couldn't afford) at all, just transferred it from the bank to these investors. And everything the club has done since has prioritised paying back those investors, at rates higher than bank loans, hence everybody being sold off. There's a good article about it out there somewhere on the internet if you can be bothered reading analysis of their accounts at Milton's Football Finance blog. All the debt being owed to the small number of investors means no danger of admin, because they will never vote to take a haircut on what they're still owed.
  11. Just wanted to echo this, I was really impressed by him at the same event, went out of his way to chat to my very quiet son and ask him what position he played, etc. great attitude.
  12. 02/08/2013 ? I've got one you can have. How about I hand it in to the guys on the JH stall and ask them to keep it for you ? Then just pick it up from them for whatever price they usually charge ? Since the next two home fixtures are the OF, I won't actually be back in the JH until the Dundee game, 28/12. Maybe post again on here nearer the time to remind me.
  13. Once had a lift home in John Marr's taxi.
  14. Bonner with his head up his OF a**e as usual. Was always stunned by his lazy ignorance on the unfortunate rare occasion I saw him pundit-ing last season.
  15. They will walk all over us (and have done so before) unless we make it clear right now we will make their lives as difficult as we can with the limited means at our disposal. We have to be looking at steps like a postponement, demo, etc. whatever will kick up a fuss, get media attention, embarass the sponsors, etc.
  16. Has to be a home game in the month of August to be allowed.
  17. We're being stabbed in the back by the league to make their life easier (AGAIN) because we're a wee club who they don't want around. For those mentioning the randomness of the fixture computer, COME ON. No way this would be allowed to be done to a Hibs, Dundee United, etc. If they don't redress the blatant sporting and financial disadvantage handed to us in an un-notified change of their own policy in violation of precedent, we should be looking for compensation and protest/publicity options to embarass them. How about ourselves and Motherwell invoke the friendly postponement rule to bin our fixtures on 27/08 and play a protest friendly against each other ? Stick a spoke in their wheel any way we can; when we play nice we always get screwed over in favour of the interests of the big clubs they worship.
  18. Lierse are not superior to us, they are in the second division and have been a shambles for several years. Freddie knocked back a 3-year deal from them when he left them previously.
  19. http://www.framefootballscotland.co.uk/euro2016 Fiver to enter, raises money for the disabled kids' football sessions the club helps run.
  20. Nice one, excellent news, he was top of the re-signing list.
  21. Old trust still has its shares, new trust has new shares, issued as part of the Weirs' investment, if I recall correctly.
  22. Fantastic, TJR, thanks very much for this impressive and illuminating series.
