  2. out of interest, how many jags fans do you think will go tonight? Hoping we take a large crowd, would be nice if we took over 1000
  3. I must admit, I asked a few of the older guys sitting around me if they could hear it and they couldnt...which makes me wonder if it was just so high pitched.
  4. It helped generate the singing yes, but the annoying ringing every time they began clapping was really irritating. However, I found myself feeling lost in JHS yesterday because most of those who were singing throughout were in the NS, so I reckon ill probably have to relocate!
  5. In all honesty, I was a huge fan of the terracing at the City end as a wee one when I used to visit Firhill. and after witnessing OneThistle's project in the away stand, I really dont see why we dont reintroduce terracing. if we get to the SPL, we can leave it empty, it doesnt cost much to maintain does it? I also imagine it wouldnt be too expensive to implement. A load of concrete with a few poles.... Surely this has to be an option?
  6. I went along to the Accies vs Bolton game following the Jags vs Celtic game on Saturday. Accies beat Bolton 2-0, with the Bolton first team vs Accies first team drawing 0-0 at half time, both teams made several changes at half time, but Accies won the second half very convincingly. After watching both the Jags and Accies playing this weekend, I have no doubt that we play the better football, but Accies seemed to be playing very much the same way that Ross County did last season. Too early to say whos going to be challengers but I dont think the leagues going to be as easy as some are making it out to be.
  7. £10 Adult, £5 concession (u16 and oap) Quite steep for monday night night friendly against second division opposition, although ill probably still go.
  8. Seems to be 2pm @ Hampden on Saturday 30th June. Wil be interesting to see how many turn up, if any.
  9. http://www.ptfc.co.uk/img/news/new_kit.jpg - Thats the big image. can see the detail brilliantly.
  10. So what do you reckon should happen now? Personally I wouldnt be satisfied unless they are punished the same way Livi were.
  11. To be quite honest with you. I'd be a bit peeved off if they are allowed back into the SPL automatically. They have been cheating for years using finances they didnt have. Any other club without the old firm who created a newco would be relegated to SFL3. So Why not Rangers?

  13. Not going to lie. Was extremely embarrased by the result on saturday. But Im still going to go along on Saturday and allow the players to make it right. Im even bringing a couple of neutral supporting mates as the gate is only a £10er compared to SD1 prices of £17 or SPL prices of £22. Use the spare cash to get a few beers and enjoy the day.
  14. Jim jeffries sacked by Hearts Gone... oh and Craig Thomson moves to Romanov's Other team Kaunas after being sacked By Romanov at Hearts... Craig Thomson to Kaunas Im glad this isnt our club.
  15. Quite simply put that was embarrassing today, Not impressed one bit. Have to agree with Jackie about the school boy errors in defence. Kinniburgh / Balatoni may just be the worst pairing in the league 1. Scott Fox - Could have done better with both goals, but had woeful defence in front of him, his kickouts were a shambles too. 2. Paul Paton - Deservedly sent off for being caught at wrong side of player, other than that, I felt at fault for the first goal too. 3. Aaron Sinclair - Not sure that anyone deserved pass marks today, but Aaron impressed me, I just wish at points he would get up the wing quicker. 4. Paul Cairney - Good run for goal, other than that done nothing spectacular, free kick was terrible. 5. Willie Kinniburgh - Simply put, Not a footballer... not on todays showing...Id much rather play an U19 than Kinniburgh, or even MacBeth... cant get much worse than Kinniburgh, hes been carried by Archie + Robbo last 2 years. 6. Conrad Balatoni - Impressed last season, but today he couldnt even judge a header, and deservedly sent off. Really wasnt impressed with any of his play today, caught on wrong side too often and it was only time until we paid for it. (also at wrong side of gray for first goal...) 7. Iain Flannigan - This guy has a serious attitude problem. Kinniburgh and Balatoni may have been poor, but at least they were trying. Flannigan on the other hand didnt look interested, pointed out numerous times to my Dad in first half he was a passenger, and also in the second. Sold the second goal, and then Jackie took him off....10 mins too late as far as im concerned. Also would much rather have a 36/37 year old Donnelly playing over him. 8. David Rowson - He has the heart, but when your playing with a poor team around you, you are dragged down to that level. 9. Kris Doolan - Some good link ups with Tommy Stewart but not enough service. 10. Tommy Stewart - Some good link ups with Doolan and Erskine, but doesnt shoot enough. 11. Chris Erskine - Not giving him pass marks, but as usual created a fantastic goal, judged the cross perfectly, but why he was taken off before flannigan ill never know. Jamie Campbell - Looked reasonable but didnt have much to do. Bannigan - Didnt get much of the ball after they just started punting it over his head Robertson - Looked a class above Balatoni and Kinniburgh when he came on. Shame he didnt start. McNamara - Poor decision to take Erskine off when although Erskine wasnt playing brilliant he can create a goal out of nothing. Also why he didnt take Flannigan off immediately after we went down to 10 men ill never know, because it was like playing with 9 men as he was a passenger.
  16. Mate who works with Albion says he is a very average player, good enough for first division level, his move to Iceland fell through, dont know why but most recently he has been training with Stenhousemuir trying to win a deal there, so I am quite suprised to see him sign for us. But never the less, all the best Scott Robertson and good luck! mon tha jags!
  17. Seems craigan has chosen us for his testimonial. Fir Park Wed 13th July Hereeeeeeee!
  18. Paperwork Completed, and then the loan moves falls through. Ah well. Hope we still sign him, just hoping because the paperwork went through doesnt mean were disadvantaged with loan limits per season.
  19. This would a good laugh! got me thinking... i played a game of 35mins gaelic footy and 35 mins aussie rules a few years back as it was a gaelic footy team vs an aussie rules team.. Could you imagine the Jags vs the Warriors? 45mins footy, 45mins rugby llolol
  20. Heard today a few of our young lads that played for the first team in the last few weeks have trials at bolton, thanks to a mr john henry.
