The hard part is going to be convincing the club to sell the 3,5,7 or 10 match tickets (10match tickets would be every home game from 26th Dec) If the club could be convinced, I have no doubt they would surprised with the uptake. I mean lets just say for Adults 3 Games £50, 5 Games £80, 7 Games £115, or 10 Games - £160 and Concessions, 3 Games £35, 5 Games £57.50, 7 Games £80, or 10 Games £115 Say the uptake is say 20 people take up on each thats £13,850, however being a realist, if the club were even to make half of that, then surely this has to be worth it?

Popping Your North Stand Cherry This Saturday?
stuart_adam replied to potty trained's topic in Main Jags forum
Thoroughly enjoyed my time in the North Stand on Saturday, doubt ill be back in JHS anytime soon. The North Stand suited me, and my love for Football and the Jags themselves can only get greater having that much fun! -
Theres also the option to offer alternatives, like the 3, 5 and 7 game packages they offered last year.

Im pretty sure the club said they had sold about 1000 season tickets. I know quite a lot of people, like myself who pay at the gate every week, the appeal of a half season ticket to myself is that, I know I will go to most if not all the games anyway, so why not get one an put money into Jackies January budget?

Admin, please rename the subject "Half Season Tickets" excuse my typo!

I dont know about everyone else, but I would hope the club are going to offer half season tickets this year. I think it would be a great way for the club to make money and put more money into Jackies budget. I dont know what the uptake would be like, but I know I'd get one. The reason this crossed my mind is, I've been to most games this season, missing only a couple due to weddings etc; and I was asked what I would like for Xmas, my instant reply was a Half season ticket, if the Jags do ofcourse do them... What do you think?

Scully should be given the opportunity, and an experienced keeper brought in as back up. For anyone who disagrees because hes had one or two bad games I seem to remember the very successful Tuffey play a few bad games as he was brought in too... Partick 0-6 Gretna anyone? Who after that game thought Tuffey would go on to become as good a keeper as he did. Give Scully a chance...

Absolutely phenomenal. Broke my North Stand cherry today, and it was unbelievable. Sang from 2.40 through to 4.55 with only stopping for half time. Fans sang their heart out, players showed so much bite and character. Forbes controlled the game for us and was sensational, Erskine looked at his best today, Lawless was continually a threat, and Stephen O'Donnell, showed why should be playing for Scotland U21. How can you tell me hes not good enough? A Constant threat, Never gives up and Fantastic goal today. Whole team deserve credit for the way they played. Fox's injury looked really bad, so heres hoping hes not out long.

The half time queues for pies this season have been nothing short of ridiculous! Whos idea was it to have separate queues for each person serving? This is a complete disgrace, as yesterday, after making my way up the stairs from the Jackie Husband stand, I had to squeeze past the queue to get to the toilet, and squeeze past again to get back. Surely this is against health and safety regulations? they were all blocking the exits from the stands. I dont know what bright spark come up with this new idea, but all i can say is, in previous seasons, people queing the long way, past the gates has never caused an issue, at least people going to the toilet, and also going to get a pie can get and stand in the queue, at one point yesterday, the queue led for one of the pie stalls went all the way out to the hospitality section. Surely i cant be the only one who feels it shouldnt have to take me an extra 2-3mins to get to the toilet whilst i squeeze past people who are oncoming, because the people in the queues are blocking the exits.

out of interest, how many jags fans do you think will go tonight? Hoping we take a large crowd, would be nice if we took over 1000

I must admit, I asked a few of the older guys sitting around me if they could hear it and they couldnt...which makes me wonder if it was just so high pitched.
-
It helped generate the singing yes, but the annoying ringing every time they began clapping was really irritating. However, I found myself feeling lost in JHS yesterday because most of those who were singing throughout were in the NS, so I reckon ill probably have to relocate!

In all honesty, I was a huge fan of the terracing at the City end as a wee one when I used to visit Firhill. and after witnessing OneThistle's project in the away stand, I really dont see why we dont reintroduce terracing. if we get to the SPL, we can leave it empty, it doesnt cost much to maintain does it? I also imagine it wouldnt be too expensive to implement. A load of concrete with a few poles.... Surely this has to be an option?

I went along to the Accies vs Bolton game following the Jags vs Celtic game on Saturday. Accies beat Bolton 2-0, with the Bolton first team vs Accies first team drawing 0-0 at half time, both teams made several changes at half time, but Accies won the second half very convincingly. After watching both the Jags and Accies playing this weekend, I have no doubt that we play the better football, but Accies seemed to be playing very much the same way that Ross County did last season. Too early to say whos going to be challengers but I dont think the leagues going to be as easy as some are making it out to be.

So what do you reckon should happen now? Personally I wouldnt be satisfied unless they are punished the same way Livi were.
-
To be quite honest with you. I'd be a bit peeved off if they are allowed back into the SPL automatically. They have been cheating for years using finances they didnt have. Any other club without the old firm who created a newco would be relegated to SFL3. So Why not Rangers?
