  1. What would happen if a goalie got a blue card? You can't sub him, as he's in the sin-bin.
  2. I know, just our luck as he has been decent in the last few games too. Think he felt the injury at Airdrie game.
  3. Team news - Scott Robinson out this week with a tweaked hamstring. Should be available for selection against Inverness. The Scottish Midfielder and Dan O'Reilly cuptied. Mitchell back in training.
  4. After careful consideration and consultation I think it's a load of bollox. Another "initiative" that nobody asked for.
  5. A race to the bottom...
  6. Yup, he'll roll up at some EFL powerhouse like Shrewsbury Town or Forest Green Rovers.
  7. Kris Doolan is now a year into the manager's role. He is now in the top half of the longest serving managers throughout the SPFL. A cut-throat group of leagues, for managers ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  8. Agreed, giving an individual dogs abuse all game, then tears when they give a late decision against you. Same can be said about giving it laldy to ex-players or "bete noirs" like *w*n C*yl* or Kr*s B*yd ๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. Get voting guys! Banzeema's pearler vs Derek's Donkeys ๐Ÿซ, โ™ฅ๏ธ ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‘Œ
  10. Not sure if it does, even then it's not a ST game and you end up having to ask people to move on occasion. Wasn't even worth it during the playoffs when the place was busy. Probably not too much if an issue on Saturday as we'll be lucky to get 3;500 fans in total, I reckon.
  11. Shame you can't reserve your ST seat for these ad hoc games. You used to be able to, I'm sure?
  12. Thats the spirit ๐Ÿ˜ฌ We've seen this story before. Cowdenbeath 1992(?) springs to mind... They also still have players who have hurt us in the past.
  13. Severe match withdrawal effects recently, but now we have a game to look forward to on Saturday. Nothing much to report on yet. Jags fans seem quite confident, which is a worry. However, Livi have been very poor so far. Do we think Doolan will change things much for this tie? Will the apparent confidence be matched up by a win and decent performance on Saturday? Interesting to see how many fans turn up for this one. Could we see an attendance below our league average? So many questions, so little to go on... One thing, has, been confirmed... Nick Walsh apparently the man in the middle ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  14. They are now losing games by a single goal... They seem a very streaky team over last few seasons. Go on good runs with few defeats or bad runs with little if any wins. I see Morton are on a 12 game unbeaten run. Could be a record for them and doesn't make our draw there look too bad a result.
  15. So the Women's team and the academy do not get direct funding from the club? So they need to run on what funds they attract? So no idea why they affect the club or its budget, apart from in a positive way?
  16. Please, don't go there...๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. We rarely beat teams above us in the cup, indeed cups going back to the 80s when we were largely a second tier team. I still fondly remember the victory away at Love Street when we beat St Mirren 3 - 1. Apart from that, were Dundee a Premier league team when we beat them, to get to the cup semi-final? I'd be surprised if we have beaten a team higher up the leagues more than a handful of times since we became a team who spent as much time out of the top flight as in it. However, on the face of it this should be a team we are looking to beat. The perennial question is how we do that? Doolan will have a gameplan and hopefully that works better than the our visit to Hearts in the summer. If BBG is playing, he's fine with hold up play and flick ons but if left isolated doesn't have the pace to threaten the opposition defence. As in other games, this allows the opposition to commit another player forward. So another perennial problem, which Dools suffered from too, is finding a player or system to support him. The players who experienced that collapse last June, will be looking to win and will need no motivation. Hopefully that spirit can see us through to the next round. It won't make up for THAT day in Dingwall but may exorcise some ghosts for players and fans alike. Also any funds from another game will not be budgeted for so will be useful on the financial side. TL:DR Don't know if I could face ANOTHER penalty shootout up there so I'll go for a hard fought 2 - 1 win for the Jags over the Stags. OLAS For we made a promise...
  18. He had a match with PTFCW team the same day we played Rangers, last season I'm sure. His priority for now is the first team, so he'll certainly be available for selection on that score.
