  1. I agree wholeheartedly - THESE clowns are meant to be OUR representatives? Their aggressive reactions to perfectly legitimate questions put to them by a journalist speaks volumes. They clearly have something to hide and, until they come clean, they can't complain when we start to speculate what they are attempting to cover up.
  2. As someone who claims to be a communications professional, Jacqui Low ([email protected]) has failed to master it for all the time she has been associated with our club. From the disgraceful way she released the news of Kris Doolan's departure before he even knew himself to this pathetic backtracking over TJF's presence at Firhill, her incompetence knows no bounds. Right now, the future of OUR club is in her hands. Scary, eh?
  3. It's horrible. Designed by a committee that gatecrashed a wedding with a free bar.
  4. It might be but who knows for sure, eh? Unfortunately the SPFL are a stubborn bunch of useless pricks with too much time on their hands so I would hazard a guess and say that it is unlikely they will come to their senses outside the courtroom which could prove expensive to Thistle. I would NEVER advocate violence against Neil Doncaster or anyone else at the SPFL for that matter but it would be nice for a bunch of us to visit his house and host a fund-raising BBQ event outside his front gate EVERY ******* SATURDAY until we get to start watching our team play again! I'll bring the Weber grill and sausages if someone else can organize the turntable and speakers...
  5. I'm all for a #blacklivesmatter logo - Thistle leads, others follow....
  6. A great article in the Guardian today about the situation: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jun/16/partick-thistle-the-biggest-victims-of-scottish-footballs-vote-farce
  7. Frank and my mum worked together at Bishopbriggs High School. The Monday after we won the League Cup, she took my match programme into school for him to autograph it for me. Better than that, he took it away and came back the following week with every player's autograph as well as David McParland's. What a guy! Does anyone have an address for him as I'd love to send him a Get Well card.
  8. And don't forget to make the score un ******* readable on the live match videos with either white on yellow or, even better, black on red. Oh - I forgot - we don't get streaming anymore for cost cutting reasons even though I came up with a plan for the club that would have allowed them to stream games internationally for absolutely nothing! (still waiting for a reply from them, by the way....)
  9. Her re-appointment is madness and if she had any decency she would have turned the offer down and recognised that she has NOTHING to bring to our club. I wrote the following email to the club last year when KD was let go: "I can’t remember the first time I went to see Partick Thistle play but it was probably sometime in 1964 when I was three years old. My dad, now aged 83, has been a season ticket holder for many years and, although I now live in America, I am also a season ticket holder and go to as many matches as I can. I LOVE the Jags but when I woke up the other day to the news that Kris Doolan has been unceremoniously released in a totally crass and despicable manner, I have questioned my loyalty to the club for the first time in my life. What has happened at our club for it to become such a classless organisation? Was it the appointment of Jacqui Low as chairman, someone who might be perceived as being out of her depth with scant knowledge of running a club or appreciative of football club culture and tradition? Or was it the appointment of our current manager whose actions and public utterings might suggest that the only reason he is at Firhill is as a short term professional convenience? The worst thing that the board of directors of ANY football club can do is to forget that it is a club’s supporters that really matter. Managers, players and, yes, even club chairmen, always move on but a supporter stays with their club forever. This current chairman and manager are in danger of defiling an incredible institution. They are responsible for overseeing a PR disaster in the way they have treated a club legend and alienated a substantial number of supporters. Both should consider what steps they need to take before the damage they have caused becomes permanent."
