Maybe you're right, and the Hibs keeper had a good game, which indicates that we were having a real go at them. But I must admit that on seeing the team line-up I asked myself who was likely to score in that team..... nobody stood out (certainly nobody like Doolan or Graham in recent years.) BTW, BBG seems in fine form just now for RC.

Sigh, how many times have we gone in cup matches to teams above us in the league, when we've been playing well, have some optimism about the outcome...... only to lose a goal within the first 10 or 15 minutes, basically making it game over before all the supporters have really settled in. I can remember multiple occasions.

Because it seems to me that just about every other club in Scotland is relying on "handouts" (do you mean paying customers and sponsors? Because the latter are doing it to support their own businesses) and also "lucky "(double-edged sword) cup draws. You present yourself as somebody who knows all the answers, which if true means that you are truly wasting your talents and time on here. You could be making a fortune for other clubs and for yourself by actioning your message. Actions speak louder than words, but you are all mouth. Incidentally, and onto another topic: only 8,500 spectators at Killie vs. Celtic, in what looked like a sad, sparsely populated stadium, clearly now too big for the way Scottish football seems to be going.

Deserved Player of the Month in July, thanks to shut-outs, penalty saves, yet immediately sidelined--again--for an incoming, on-loan keeper with less experience. If I were him I'd be raging. And I don't agree with "just keep training and your time will come" platitude, because it looks like basically, despite what gets said, and despite how well he might play, he's just not fancied by the management team, at least not more than reluctantly as a back-up. If his agent saw the opportunity for a move, I'd understand if KB went for it.

Agreed, he shirked out of tackles most of the time, just lightly lifting his foot and then withdrawing it before any contact with the ball (or the opponent's boot) might actually occur. Your description of aerial challenges is accurate. A lightweight, who when presented with a good chance of a clear run and/or a goal effort might produce one, but probably less than half the time. I see no reason to expect that to change, and he'll probably get found out in the Premiership.

Some poster harping on about the inevitable demise of the club if we don't get a proper business plan formulated and put into action (although what that precisely might be, and how it should be implemented, is never actually described)?

Has anyone informed JJ that we won on Saturday? I'm not sure if he's even aware of what actually goes on on the field.
