  1. I would genuinely like to know why you think McCall id "doing ok" We are the second worst full time team in Scotland. Overall, 27th out of 42 league clubs in Scotland 5 part time teams are doing better than us (Arbroath, Alloa, Airdrie, Montrose, Cove) We have won just 5 out of 14 games this season (and scored just 12 times in the process) In a league where you say "Thistle look better than any team" we are currently 5th (if East Fife win their games in hand, 6th) Our great hope is a striker who has not scored in 12 months and is now facing a suspension We are as close to a relegation play-off as we are to the leaders We have been knocked out of the League Cup before the knockouts for the first time since the group stage was introduced I could go on, but please explain what is acceptable about any of the above
  2. Just like he proved himself last January/February with a full squad - his squad
  3. I’m not desperate. McCall doesn’t make it hard to find criticism. What I don’t get is why some try to defend him. If we leave it to see if we are still in this league next season, we have left it too late. This league is garbage. It is very winnable. As for adapting to injuries, look back to last season and we were starting to recover with GC’s players, until McCall brought in his own guys and it all went tits up. He doesn’t have a clue what is needed and we are worse than before he took over. Not defending Caldwell who was mince, but by any measure McCall is worse.
  4. The flaw in your argument is that the best results came when injuries were at their worst and McCall was forced to make changes. If we had a full squad available we would probably be bottom by now
  5. How are players leaving going to fund it ? I don’t see scouts from Madrid and Barcelona recommending big cheques for any of our failures
  6. Or bin himself and get in someone who can organise a team to get results. We have the players who can win this league
  7. Not everyone Might not have mentioned it, but I want a manager.
  8. The problems are not on the pitch. The problem is we need someone to get more from what we’ve got
  9. Options on what we can do short term are limited, but we can change the manager and get some new thinking as the current plan is not working. We were told finances were OK before the £150k hand out so there’s the cash to do it. Either that or give it to McCallto spunk on more injured players. To turn your question round, if McCall is the answer, what question are you asking ?
  10. Can’t add to that. Going nowhere with this clown in charge
  11. Whether unjust or not, we should not have been bottom at the time. That is McCall’s fault. Period.
  12. That’s another £350k that McCall’s relegation has cost us
  13. I can't believe that people on here are creaming their pants over wins against East Fife, Montrose and Forfar. How low have we fallen ? We should not be playing these teachers, taxi drivers and postmen if it wasn't for McCall getting us relegated. Remember he was brought in to get us to the Championship playoffs last year, not the League One playoffs this year.. I'll give him the benefit that it is not his fault that our leading striker has missed 2 penalties in a row, but if he misses a third, that is McCalls fault. We score so few goals against these dross part timers that we can't afford to pass up golden chances. For defenses facing us, it must be like getting attacked by dead sheep and why do we not have a plan B when it's not working ? As for the recent results, I don't believe that McCall takes much credit. Were his hand not been forced by injuries, Sneddon would still be in goal, Penrice at left back and Sena picking splinters out his bum sitting on the bench. Left to his own devices I have no doubt we would currently be closer to second bottom than second top.
  14. We were relegated because we were bottom of the league. If we hadn't been bottom, we wouldn't have been relegated. I'm on planet reality, not planet chip on my shoulder. Why were we bottom of the league ? Because of McCall's atrocious record, despite having been financially backed by the board. It is 100% McCall's fault that we are where we are. For the record, 11 wins in 35 games - 31.43% win ratio This season, 2 wins in 8 games - 25% win ratio. He is not going to turn this around. It's getting worse. Question .... Does anyone think that McCall is the right man for the job ?
  15. Please check your facts. EWe were not relegated because of some Machiavellian plot by the SPFL exec & a cabal of self serving clubs. We were relegated because we were bottom of the league. If we hadn't been bottom, we wouldn't have been relegated. We were bottom because McCall couldn't buy a win. FACT. McCall was financially backed by the board in 2 transfer windows and probably had a bigger budget than either of the Championship clubs we faced. This was a relatively easy League Cup group yet McCall could manage just one win in 4. A 25% win rate which is below even his mediocre average. The start to the league was not difficult if we had any asperations of challenging. 3 of the games have been against part-time clubs. If you know how the season would have progressed after the cancelation, please tell me next weeks lottery numbers.. Your argument is completely spurious. Why do lovers of golden bollocks always selectively pick & choose their line of argument, without any sense of the truth, the whole truth & nothing but the truth. Get real.
  16. Before you all go overboard celebrating a 0-0 draw with Morton, remember this is the first time we have failed to get out of a League Cup group. Archibald never failed to do it and even ****ing Caldwell managed it. 1 win in 4 games. A new low even for McCall
  17. Taxi waiting. Close the door on your way out
  18. I hope not but it couldn’t make things worse
  19. Promotion ! With McClown we won’t avoid relegation
  20. Should have been The Moody Blues "Go Now"
