Blues Brother
This makes very interesting reading can it happen over here ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29624410
The Sunnylaw Jag
We used to have one at Firhill at the back of the shed with all the piss stains. Although now I think of it, we did actually have a big yellow wall in front of the shed . . or did I imagine that?
Sinistar
Tickets, accommodation, transport, and a couple of beers for £65? Pah, I'd much rather stick with how we do it in Scotland. If only someone had the vision to run football like that here. Lambies Lost Doo
The benefit they have is huge fan base, big sponsorship deals and ability to milk corporate clients. Scottish football would have to do something different that fits in with the situation we have.

Scottish football would have to do something different that fits in with the situation we have. Go further down the pecking order and it's similar over there though. I work over in Germany quite often and most often that not take in a game wherever I happen to be. I think I've only once paid more than entrance to Firhill and that was to watch Bayern beat Hoffenheim 7-1. The match day experience over there puts us to shame.
lady-isobel-barnett
It's remarkable to have a "fan comes first" policy at club level and such a successful team at international level. Over here even if they were to treat us fans better the incompetents that run our game could only make that happen at some other expense. Most likely the standard of player we produce. ChewinGumMacaroonBaaaz
The important thing is to learn from and adapt. Copying is dangerous and embarrassing. Scottish football tried to emulate the English and have failed, tragically. To my mind the best thing we (SFA and member clubs) could do here is offer more variety and concentrate on improving our own game independently rather than concerning ourselves with UEFA coefficients and slavishly pinning our financial hopes to the old firm.
