lady-isobel-barnett
Happy Birthday to one of the greatest ever Jags. Also a great club servant. ...and same to Ronnie, who, for one day at least, was part of one of the best days in football

Duncan
Classic Donnie story from the Isle of Lewis. Donnie`s mother was from Carloway and both he and Ronnie donned their shirt a few times back in the day. Shawbost is the next village and the games in those days were vintage derbies! This is from a former Carloway FC player posted today on their Facebook page in tribute to the birthday brothers. "My favourite Donnie McKinnon story was when he refereed a Carloway v Shawbost game. I guess it would have been around 1962. We ( Carloway) were attacking and one of our guys was pulled down by the Shawbost centre half. Donnie McKinnon was so engrossed in the game he immediately shouted "penalty ref" and then realised he himself was the referee. Those of us who were near the incident burst out laughing including some of the Shawbost players. Can't remember if we scored from the penalty or not but certainly recall the incident clearly. He was a class guy as was brother Ronnie."
The Jukebox Rebel
One of my early Jags heroes too. Many happy returns to the legend that is Donnie McKinnon! (And to Ronnie.) LOVE that photie. Sir Alex gasps in awe at the majesty of the Don, as Tiny Wharton casts an admiring glance.
stillresigned
In an era when any player who plays two games in a row attracts the monicker legend. Best wishes to,a true Partick Thistle legend!
a f kincaid
Don't think that's "Big Tiny". Looks more like Hugh Philips.
