ifu03340
Circa £360k to be paid to players who had been made redundant exc. management. (e.g. Fox, McMenamin et al.) As I understand they are not included as creditors & have to be dealt with separatly opposed to being creditors. If true, what do they owe these players? Statutory redundancy or do they get their contracts honoured? Anyone know?

kni
The key question is how much do Dundee have to pay out to meet their footballing debts and avoid further sanctions by the SFL.

The whole thing stinks. Give it a few years and they'll be doing it all over again. Hate them.

Your an expert (or at least think you are ) on most things , why let things like facts or actually being there, get in the way of telling us all how things are. So there! Oh please tell us, promise I'll behave. My son has now stopped watching "Singing Kettle" so my mood has improved greatly and thus I'll stop being nasty. Anyone have a copy of that list to hand? I found it both interesting and enlightening. To me it shows just how many different small businesses will actualy be creditors to a mid level football club such as ours. Is there some reason though why I would have to have information on our debts before I can take interest in another clubs financial problems? Jaggy1967
what has stunned me is the ridiculous amounts of money owed to Gary Harkins ! How long has he played for them yet is owed around 85K WTF Please tell me our club did not pay this prima donna a fraction near that per year ! The gauling thing is that this he what he is owed outstanding! Has he never had a wage ( more fool him ) or is his yearly salary more than than the ridiculous figure outstanding ? Classic case of what is wrong with ' British football ' imho ! Edited February 11, 2011 by Jaggy1967
Fearchar
....Dundee City Council, Dundee. £31,558 ..... Dundee City Council Leisure, Dundee. £1435 Dundee City Council, Dundee. £2838.44 ..... Dundee City Council, Dundee. £1940.40 Dundee City Council, Dundee. £1385.84 ..... Just how many city councils does Dundee have these days? AFAIK, if the club had been liquidated (as opposed to gone into administration), the unpaid employees would have been preferred creditors. Of course, I doubt if Dundee FC has enough assets to fund even those debts. Expect to see Dundee FC struggling yet to pay even their current costs - not to mention to find suppliers willing to take a punt on getting payment. Vom Itorium
Not sorry to see the Sellick be £4k out of pocket.. I hear they're gonna be playing Neil McCann as a trialist to add to their many tomorrow now.. no doubt they'll sign all of these players as soon as they come out of admin officially and the scurrilous activities will continue.
