Fawlty Towers
Lets really exploit the free funds that are on offer to maximise the amount of money that is raised in this quarter which finishes at the end of September: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/raise-funds-for-free/ We as supporters can make a positive difference to our club through easyfundraising (and easysearch) which given how tight the division is could prove crucial to us! Fawlty Towers
As there appears to be a number of folk who need cheering up even after a victory then I hope you find something here that can put a smile on your face: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/fun-stuff-online/ If you are worried that the team needs new players or that other teams are spending money then you can help generate funds for our club through easyfundraising (lots of FREE funds to be had and your online shopping does not cost you a penny extra) or easysearch (totally free, all you have to do is use it as your search engine). However you choose to help it has to be better than just endless talking (and moaning) that achieves nothing! We can, if we really want to, make a positive difference to our club so lets do it! Thanks for your support!
Fawlty Towers
To link in with the great "Join the Jags" scheme here is some info on Photobox that may be of use to you (as well as helping to raise funds): http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/photobox/ Lets work together to generate plenty of additional funds for our club! Fawlty Towers
Thank you to those of you using easysearch as we have raised a further £1.14 for the wearethistle cause at no cost to ourselves, this is the second week in a row that the total raised has exceeded £1 and the average amount raised per week is creeping up. The link to the easysearch page is below and I would urge you to start using it if you have are not already doing so: http://wearethistlefundraising.easysearch.org.uk/ Together we can make a positive difference to our club. Fawlty Towers
A new month brings a new competition and this month you can win one of four kindles on offer: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/free-competition-uk/2011-09-euroffice/ If you are planning on doing any online shopping then please register with easyfundraising, select wearethistle as your cause then go to the retailer via the link on the easyfundraising website. This will generate funds for the cause which will then be passed to the club. Working together we can make a positive difference to our club so lets do so. Thanks for your support! Fawlty Towers
There are other threads in which the need for money coming in to the club are discussed so here I will just urge as many of you as possible to register with easyfundraising and select wearethistle as your cause. If you are already registered with another cause (naming no names) it is easy to switch by changing your settings. I will take the opportunity to remind people that the wearethistle admin guys have said that all the money raised through this goes to PTFC, other organisations have not said that. The free funds section is a very quick and easy way to boost the amount that has been raised so if there is anything there that you have not already done then please have a go: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/raise-funds-for-free/ Together we can make a positive and very important contribution to our club so lets do it! Thanks, as always, for your support!
Fawlty Towers
Just wanted to share a little idea that I have been using in relation to easysearch: When logging on to the computer before I do anything else I choose a letter at random then search for 10 different words starting with that letter. Not only does it produce some interesting results depending on what word you search for it generates 5p for the wearethistle cause and builds up the amount of money that will be passed to the club. Thanks for your support!
Fawlty Towers
As it would be nice for someone on here to win some money here are various ways of doing so through easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/more/lottery-and-gaming/ We are getting a bit more money raised through easysearch but are still stuck on 24 people registered with easyfundraising, to generate significant money we need to increase that by some margin and, in my opinion, that should not be hard given the number of Jags fans just on this forum. Thanks for your support!
Fawlty Towers
It is getting closer to the time of year when hints about Christmas presents start to get dropped so here is some info for those with young children who might be looking for something from their favourite television show: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/character-online/ If we work together on easyfundraising/easysearch then we can make a difference to our club and it is needed! Mediocre Pundit
I don't do much shopping online so didn't have much use for this but just bought the Mrs a Kindle through Amazon and made sure wearethistle got a donation from it. Also need to buy pet insurance and am looking to change my gas/electric - will be using for those also. An easy £50 or so to the Jags. I'm sure there are many people who read the site who, like me, don't buy much online. But if and when you do, think of EasyFundraising - it's only a few more clicks than you would do anyway and gets wearethistle the donation for introducing the business. Fawlty Towers
Just to give an update on how things are progressing with this: The wearethistle guys set the sites up on 25th May 2011 and since then £33.79 has been raised, £11.76 of that through easysearch, and we have 25 supporters registered. As has been said by many people even if you only shop online once a year it is still easy money raised for the cause and every penny that can be raised is very important! If we work together we can make a positive impact to our club. Thanks for your support!

Fawlty Towers
Another £1.24 was added to the total through easysearch so "thanks" to everyone who used easysearch and if you are not using it then please consider doing so. When I got up this morning I thought "I need a new body" but unfortunately the body shop's name is a bit misleading! They do sell some good stuff though and make a nice donation to wearethistle as well if you buy something online with them: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/the-body-shop/ Working together we can make a difference to our club. Thanks again for your support!

Fawlty Towers
The stationery/office supply company Viking are doing a number of offers that might be of interest to people who need that sort of stuff: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/viking/#28207 If we work together to generate plenty of funds through easyfundraising we can make a positive impact on our club and, as we have all seen, there is nothing to fear in the division so any extra funds could prove very important.
