uberteeb
Its good to see that after 4 weeks of glamour at the world cup its only 2 days after the final that we are brought back to reality with a thump  Queens Park and Clyde away to follow before the announcement of a BRILLIANT away game in England, you heard it here first. Mr Bunny
But if it's a nice day, would be worth a run down there on the bike, bite to eat then take in the game then a nice run back home to Partick. Good day out!!
Buchanan 9
We're also playing Watford at Firhill on the 7th of July, seen that on their website the other day. yoda-jag
I think the feeshal site just says that we're announcing our games "soon"?   Queens Park, Dumbarton and Clyde confirmed so far  English league oppossition 20th July at Firhill tbc.  Possibly some other friendlies between 24th July and 7th August. Ancipital
depending on who the English team are, that'll be no pre-season games for me for the 2nd year running.

Pie Of The Month
At least Queens Park is on a Saturday at St Andrews. Â Wee day trip up there as opposed to playing them here.
Smurph
Yay, didn't expect any of them at all. Â St. Andrews might be all right, although we play Queens Park... again... Clyde, boring. Dumbarton, slightly better, but still not enthralling. Â The English team might be Everton. Apparently Clyde are close to playing them, and Dumbarton also have an un-named English side. Would be quality if it was them.
Pie Of The Month
Everton are playing in Australia on the 17th July. A big ask for them to get home and then to Firhill by the Tuesday when they will be shattered. Â Although they aren't getting any of their players who will be at the World Cup to travel to Australia so we could play against them plus a few youths. What a strange venue . St Andrews will be heavin' with the Open starting a few days later. Wouldn't be surprised, having been there on many an occasion at & around Open time, if the parking restrictions etc are in operation. Don't anyone think of making a weekend of it, be nigh impossible. The Devil's Point
around Open time  not bad  It does seem a crazy venue right enough though.

Good point, all the B&B's etc will be fully booked for anyone looking to make a weekend of it. However, I have a caravan in Crail, about 15mins away, so all back to mine?  Should be a decent day though, if the weather is nice. No train, but easy to get to by bus.
hoopster
not bad  It does seem a crazy venue right enough though.  Queen's are up there for 4 days then for a training camp. The only thing I can think of is that Thistle are going up for a couple of days as well or that we were really desperate for an opposition when we're there. The Earl of Hathaway
That'll be 3 pre-season games that I'm missing then since I'm on holiday for the first 2 weeks of July. Wouldn't have minded a day out in St Andrews but there you go. Couldn't we play Ayr away since I missed both trips last season....
1 John Lambie
If we are spending afew days in St. Andrews training, there are plenty of teams nearby. St. Andrews Juniors obviously, East Fife, Brechin, Montrose, Forfar, Arbroath, Dungdee Utd are all within an hour as well, but doesn't look like that'll be happening.
