P-T-118
Surprised not to have seen a thread about this already... On Friday night, approx. 20 "Thistle Fans" thought it would be a good idea to go into the Hamilton stand at the start of the game - i presume not because they thought they would get a better view.... Did anyone think this was funny? or was proud of them as fellow Jags fans? or like me thought, what a bunch of knobs, f**k off somewhere else and grow up !!! Bluddy Hell
Its either that or........because of the queues at the Thistle end they decided to get in before kick-off?
PaleGreySky
and all to square up to the small children who call themselves Hamilton casuals...
ian_mac
Before jumping on your high horse... This isn't something that I would personally do, but I understand that a group of young thistle fans were attacked before/after the challenge cup game at the start of the season, this might have something to do with it. thistle4tw
I think the kids that play themselves off as hard men and demonstrate to opposition fans unprovokenly would crap themselves if there wasn't a stand between them and other fans. I bet there was none out of them all night

Spot on. The incident (or non-incident as the case may be) was in response to some kids being attacked at the challenge cup game. This was not the first instance of hamiltons so-called casuals attacking normal supporters either. Unsurprisingly these little hard men were nowhere to be found on friday night. Before anyone jumps down my throat this is a reason I am offering, not an excuse. Tom Stronach
Good to hear these guys sticking up for their mates and fellow fans if they were attacked earlier on in the season by those schemie, liberty takers from Hamilton. Would much rather we had more of these type of fans following us than the "west end luvvie", student types.

If someone takes a liberty against your pals, you're gonna bear a grudge. we don't do ourselves any favours at times with some of the stuff we say and further enhance our reputation as guardian reading luvvie twats. Sometimes i think we should have a bit more of a backbone. sometimes we sound like a right bunch of 'cosmopolitans'.

GrantB
I miss the days when football had a bit of atmosphere.

thistle4tw
A couple of the earlier posts left me quite speechless to be honest. Would you rather our fans attacked young away fans and antagonised away fans. Get a grip.
1971
The Thistle 'casuals' at Hamilton were, as they usually are, completely hilarious but embarassing. They are a bunch of wee guys who whack on Stone Island jackets and seem to think they are hard men. They didn't appear to even do anything whilst in the Hamilton end, they just made a few gestures at a group of 14 year old Hamilton fans whilst being escorted away. PROPAHH NAWTYY.
