Too gung ho when we started with six defenders on the pitch? We still have four of them playing!

Muscat Jag
I would have taken that result before kick-off, put by the sounds of it we probably should have won. QoS beating Raith has done us a big favour though.

joejag
Hit the bar, missed a penalty and goalkeeper had a blinder!! One of thos Thistle days!! Sigh!!!!!!!
lennythistle
Just read match report. Would have gladly taken a point today but it does feel we missed a great chance to get the win. Would seem their keeper has had a blinder today. Given our away form has been so poor, it is pleasing to read that we have had a right go at them to try and win the game. Be very tough down at Palmerson next week but if we can avoid defeat then it will go long way to securing our league status for next season. Gordie
Bottle merchants? Pish, team played well and pushed for the win from the off. Cairneys goal was amazing. The 2 penalties were soft, in fact prob not pens, their sending off very harsh. Their keeper had one of those games. Enjoyable game

Also thought Rowson was immense and totally bossed the middle of the park.
1971
Bunch of bottle merchants. Were you at the game? The team were extremely unlucky today. Played some great stuff and were the better team even when it was 11 v 11. Disappointed not to win but the team gave their all and bottled nothing. Extremely enjoyable game, one of the most entertaining of the season.
Jaggyman
Quite an enjoyable game all in. Thought were slightly the better team up till the sending off after that we were by far the better team. Cairneys goal was as good a goal as ive seen in a long time goal of the season by a country mile. Couldnt see why Falkirk got a penalty as it was at other end. Ours was imo never a penalty it looked like Cairney tripped over the ball and tbh the sending off was a joke a foul yes but a straight red card never in a million years. The fakirk keeper had one of those dayd when only something brilliant would beat him and thats how it turned out. His save from Doolans header was fantastic he also had good saves from erskine and archie and sinclair was unlucky to skelp the bar. I would have taken a point before the game but having seen the game its 2 points dropped. But on a brighter note it was a great away performance

Thought we played really well, what a difference playing on a park with some grass on it! Diddy refs always liven games up.

kennymac29
The reporter also said that Cairney dived so I wouldnt take too much notice of his opinion. Ejjit. Agree with all thats been said, thought archie was good as well. Sinclair was fairly gash apart from his last ten minutes though. Cracking game although £4 to park at the stadium was a little steep!
