peagreenboy
Stones, glass houses, and all that ... or did we not experiment with piping sound from the North Stand to the Jackie Husband Stand earlier in the season? OK, not precisely the same thing, but it went down as well here as it seems to have done at EEP today. Fill the empty stands up with cardboard cut out fans and play the artificial crowd noise
buchanio
I think that the idea would work well if the acoustics are right, the sound is delivered properly and its not just pumped out through a dodgy plastic tannoy system. As The pars are skint its bound to be the latter which would sound absolutely s**te.
Dug1e
we can not complain as we tried it as well at the start of the season. piping the north stand into the JHS. annoying, it was, edit to add saw earlier post saying same thing. if its the way to go just put on an lp Edited March 24, 2013 by Dug1e

Lenziejag
I am sure that Chelsea or Arsenal put up cardboard cutouts at one of their ends when they were renovating and I seem to remember that it got favourable feedback.

Charlie Endell
I'm sure St Johnstone did that a few seasons back. It was heard to tell between the cardboard fans and their real ones. Edited March 24, 2013 by Charlie Endell

jags365
Are the cardboard fans 'seated' 3 seats apart to make it look like there's more of them?
