gerrybritton9
So the Jags are back in FIFA. Have you played it yet? What do you think?
mhs
I have played 21 games in the league so far, only one defeat, sitting 7 points ahead of Celtic! It is an improvement over Fifa 13, the dribbling and running is more realistic. Passing and shooting is also more life-like. With regards to Thistle, they have got the player ratings and attributes about right. I am finding Osbourne and Higgy are immense, Dools is really good and Muirhead/Balatoni do well. Kerr is normally decent and Forbes and Craigen are useful for me too. The only one they have got really wrong I think is Welshy, he is almost the same rating as Mukendi! The Cup
I am undecided about buying it. I've heard mixed reports about it. I probably will though so I can go the Jags.

Worth it just to play as Thistle also nice to give the likes of Dundee United and Celtic a hammering!

mhs
What level you playing it at?? Pro, would really struggle to do that well on World Class! Scraped a lot of games and few of late winners.
Firhillista
It's probably just me, but how do you get the league tournaments? I can play individual games, but I can't find how to access the leagues. It was pretty straightforward in FIFA 13, but I haven't got to grips with the menu on this one yet. Took me 15 minutes to work it out, hidden away! On main screen, press R1 to go to "play", then click on "more", then on top right "tournament" box press right analogue stick to the right until "new tournament" is on, select it then go to Scotland and same as last Fifa. peagreenboy
You get to play as Thistle, but do you get to play at Firhill? If you ever get to see the stadium, is it just a generic, identikit one?
gerrybritton9
its a generic stadium. i think it looks good and is quite homely. But there is no bing!
allyo
I see you can get it for the Wii. Haven't bought a computer game for myself in about 25 years (I assume you probably don't call them that any more), last one would have been on the Commodore 64, but I'm tempted. gerrybritton9
I challenged my daughter to a game and she was taking ages. When I told her to hurry up, she said: "I can't decide whether to start with Bannigan or Forbes" Music to my ears! At least she isnt a Chelsea fan, Man Utd, Barca etc ...... PS she loves Scott Fox
sb1876
Good site to compare game costs in case anyone doesn't know about it, worth checking to compare against where you were planning on buying. Cheers. http://www.find-game.co.uk/

She managed a 0-0 draw! She Parked the bus and Dools had no way through (PS we both played as Thistle against each other to save any arguments!) allyo
Do you think I'd get away with calling it a present for my daughter (like I did with Mariokarts)?
Norgethistle
Do you think I'd get away with calling it a present for my daughter (like I did with Mariokarts)? I did She still can't understand why she has to keep playing when Scotland always beats Norway and Thistle always beats Viking by at least 10 goals every game. Rid Skwerr
ANDROID - currently FREE on Google play "for this week only". Got it, tried it, seems to work ok. Except it's not very realistic - Thistle only drew 1-1 with sellick at home! I blame the manager :-)
