allyo
http://www.rangerspics.com/scotlands-most-successful-football-club/print/8763796.html Saw this poster at the airport the other day and was utterly astounded. Had to post it. We're all well aware of the arrogance and lack of humility, but this goes beyond irony and actually looks like sarcasm. It's like they're taking the piss out of themselves. Inviting ridicule. What makes it worse is that it was on the wall between the Rangers and Celtic shops. I almost wondered if it was Celtic who'd put it up as a wind up. Imagine if Thistle had come out with something equivalent while languishing in the Second Division. It would have been humiliating. Incredible. Sinistar
Sadly it probably is arrogance. Hard to have sympathy when you see articles like this - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/neil-lennon-parcel-bomber-grins-3691438 Fans are turning on each other too, was reading a story yesterday about a guy going nuts because someone bought his seat at Ibrox, it's like crossing a picket line he said. At least Greens on his way back to sort them out...ooft
peagreenboy
Success, no matter how much you accumulate, will never buy you dignity, respect, or class.
Guy Incognito
There is something vaguely quixotic about it, granted, but all they are doing is trying to make a bit of cash. Let's face it, in view of everything that has gone on lately they need to. Alternatively they could just stop paying vastly inflated wages for substandard/past-it players, but that doesn't seem to be the way they do things down in G51. Barney Rubble
In the last two years that organisation has shown itself to be even more delusional than anyone had ever thought they were beforehand.
Mr Bunny
Success, no matter how much you accumulate, will never buy you dignity, respect, or class. Depends how you get success, doesn't it? Now how about a thread about the Jags and the new season (in the top league) coming up?
peagreenboy
Depends how you get success, doesn't it? Now how about a thread about the Jags and the new season (in the top league) coming up? Bad losers are just that. If you had worded your comment along the lines of, "what's this got to do with Thistle?" you could have won yourself a no-prize. Ah, well. redmike
Well, in percentage terms, they are Scotland's most succesful club. They have won 100% of the leagues they have participated in.
lady-isobel-barnett
Well, in percentage terms, they are Scotland's most succesful club. They have won 100% of the leagues they have participated in. And reaching a cup final in their second year was a tremendous achievement. Even tho' they lost out, just actually being at a final must have been so enjoyable for their supporters.

oneteaminglasgow
Well, the old co were Scotland's most successful club and they're desperate to try and convince everyone that they are one and the same so makes sense. Take it with a pinch of salt anyway, everything that club does just now is a desperate effort to try to distract people from what's actually happening in ibrox.
