  1. Definitely not a good record, but not (yet) statistically signficant; i.e., we are not jinxed, just no' very good.
  2. The real damage was done on Tuesday, with a poor overall performance and defensive lapses. Last night was an excellent away win against the team who are above us in the league, and it's just a shame that some stupendous last-gasp defending by Raith and our profligacy when in great positions to score combined to force a penalty shoot-out. It's been a very good season overall, with many frustrations and disappointments, but we finished higher in the league than last season, and were a couple of inches away from another play-off final. I'm actually already over it, well sort of; blaming nobody in particular for the two semi-final games, but accepting that we were clearly below par in the first one, and were unlucky (?) in the second. On to next season!
  3. What a truly dreadful rag The Herald has become. Not a single word so far on the match, but more about the two erse cheeks players, supporters, backroom staff than you'd ever want to see. And the rest of it is full of junk and adverts deliberately wrongly included as "news" or "opinion."
  4. A big thank you and well done to the players and management team for getting us no more than a whisker from promotion (again), especially when our form looked seriously on a downward spiral earlier in the season. I always eagerly await the news of who is going and who is arriving during the summer break. Of course we need some new faces, and some of the first team squad are sure to be offski. Let's hope we can be stronger as a result.
  5. I'll be renewing as soon as they are on sale. Yet again, I'll probably not actually get to see a game in the flesh, so they'll also get my live stream subscription. Onwards and upwards (and I really do mean upwards, Jags!!).
  6. I don't think the comments are about only tonight's penalty misses. How about not missing sitters, how about being able to defend a lead, how about failing to win (despite playing well) so many semi-finals and finals? There's indeed a long history of it.
  7. I disagree about Diack. I think he can be a good player, but he's already a professional with goals and games behind him. A striker should be capable of hitting the target from the penalty spot every time, and Doolan was right to let him have his chance. McMillan's was inexcusable.
  8. We are indeed bottlers. You're right: if you're a penalty up, then just make f'in sure your shot is on target. At least give the goalie some work to do. Terrible, costly mistakes.
  9. Sounds like we started well, got a lucky break for the goal, and then back to getting bossed in midfield, inevitably leading to an equalizer.
  10. Are criticism and laughing at mistakes now to be considered unacceptable behaviour? 😮
  11. Well, all things given, I'm happy to go with the manager's view on this one.
  12. Yes. I like his effort and ability. Doesn't always perform as we'd like, but let's face it, almost nobody does.
