  1. I think Scott Fox will start as a trialist on saturday.
  2. I thought Doolan had a poor game on Saturday, however given he has already scored against Stirling and Cowdenbeath I think he will start these games. I still feel Buchanan will start scoring again, just a matter of time.
  3. Archibald and Hardie provided some of the dig and leadership that we have been missing. Midfield was over run a times, the central 3 are too similar. Rowsen will make a difference when he comes back. We have to hope our key player’s stay fit, if they do then we should end up mid table. We were defensively set-up; hardie was dropping back into midfield when Falkirk had the ball making it a 3-6-1 at times. Given the situation we are in this is really the only sensible option. Two really big games coming up, I would be happy with 4 points.
  4. Really silly from Pressley but I still think falkirk will win the league.
  5. Any sale of Harkins will trigger the 25% sell on clause, wonder what they will do to avoid paying this? Find it unlikely this money will be easy to get!
  6. Sometimes when viewing the forum a blank page appears rather than the thread clicked on. It’s really not a problem for me as I just use Firefox.
  7. Excellent stuff – maybe ask to get the article on the official site to reflect this though?
  8. What browser are you using? I use Google chrome and have noticed a few issues on the forum. Have switched to Firefox for the forum.
  9. Good to see a good number at the meeting, even though I could not make it. Will try my best to make any future meetings. I have just rejoined as well, just got around to it. Would recommend everybody to get behind the trust and join http://www.jagstrust.co.uk/join-the-trust/
  10. Oh dear! best to laugh and move on - he is gone and that is all that matters.
  11. If he does go then it will be Maxwell and McNamara. The club can’t afford Gus McPherson but he would be the outstanding candidate. As somebody has said he would be mental to take it.
  12. Rumour has it 3 members of the jags trust have bought t-shirts for something tomorrow…
  13. I challenge you at the next home game to take five minutes out of your time to talk to the trust.
  14. Nobody is going to invest at the moment with admin a strong possibility. I would take anybody with a strong business track record onto the board though.
  15. I am taking a guess at were skint?
  16. We got the win but I still think we were poor. Lack of confidence all over the park. Conrad at times was all over the place; he has got potential but was caught out so many times. He lost his man for the goal and Stuart Bannigan failed to stop the cross which just highlights the pitfalls of playing youngsters. Bannigan looks a player in the making, good touch and picks his passes well. Not quite ready for a regular slot but a player with potential. Doolan played well and took his chances, encouraging performance from him. Second half we lost the battle in midfield, but we hung on.
  17. Why are people using this to attack the board? Shocking that somebody would do this. Must be a few jags fans who know who did it.
  18. This is really only going round in circles with the board. They don’t like the trust asking difficult questions and are looking to discredit them. What will happen at the meeting is this; they will let the rep on and agree to give the shares however this process is all aimed at discrediting the trust. Another wee guess is the board will be too busy to meet the trust before the agm. Time for straight talking from the trust and positioning themselves for the financial difficulties that lie ahead for the club.
  19. Not sure if this has been asked before but what happens to proco if we go into admin?
  20. It’s time for the trust to take a stand and call for changes in the board room. Time for Allan Cowan and Tom Hughes to go. The club seems to be deliberately going out their way to discredit the trust. You have got to wonder what the real reason is for all of this. This means no fan representative will be in on the proco deal and if we go into admin. Its shocking behavior and they can’t be allowed to go on.
  21. Their second goal is even worse when you see it on the highlights. Liam did play okay but was marked very closely.
  22. The reason for loss of form is down to reducing the player budget. How McCall has coped with this really is the question. Doubt Maxwell is on more money, probably on less. The side is really suffering from lack of confidence running right through the side. We need the senior players to stand up and be counted. Our vulnerability to set pieces is really worrying.
  23. The side is very low on confidence; it’s not a problem with effort. They ran their socks off but as is usually the case nothing would fall for us and Cowden defended like it was their cup final. The ball dropped around the Cowden box all game but did not fall for us. A lot to do with bad delivery but a wee bit of luck would be very welcome for us. McCall made a mistake with Donnelly today, playing behind the forwards sounds good but it took away our width and we lost out in the centre of the park. Was expecting Hodge on at half time. Willie Kinniburgh did okay, Paton played well and liam looked more like his old self but was marked very closely.
  24. Maybe worth asking if the bank are willing to cover the losses this year as well. Not that I think they will give any sort of answer to that one.
