  1. I'll add in an extra tenner over the weekend!
  2. I think it will be this but with Murray playing very deep, occassionally filling in in defence to ensure we continue to get width from full back positions which is clearly key to the way we are trying to play
  3. The last time we opened our season to Clyde I remember feeling similarly optimistic... Still today we'll win 3-0
  4. I think we will go for something like Fox Murihead Archie Paton O'Donnell Bannigan Murray Welsh Lawless Erskine Doolan The way we played in the Cup last weekend was very flexible and it's hard to fit the way they played into a conventional formation but think it'll be those players.
  5. Delighted to have made the trip up the country for those two performances! Decided to treat myself to a First Class train upgrade in celebration Thought we were just as good, if not better than yesterday, which is encouraging considering it was a totally different front three we played. Really enjoying the fluidity the team are showing with people looking comfortable in various positions. As for the players Welsh looks like he will be a very big player next year; he has a very good footballing head on his shoulders. Bannigan, in the second half especially, is really impressing me and its hard to see him not starting the season in the first XI either in midfield or left wing back. These were the two stand outs for me but elsewhere Elliot again looks like the player we hoped he would be when he first arrived, Doolan showed nice touches, Craigen slotted in comfortably and didn't look out of place at all whilst Hugh Murray and Paul Paton deserve credit for two solid performances. Was nice to see Kenny Arthur and Johnny Tuffey take in the game and in an unrelated note Steven Naismith appears to be sitting across from me on the train!
  6. Really happy with that performance today. Kept the ball extremely well at times and moved it across the pitchwith some fluency upping the tempo at the right times. Agree with others than Bannigan was MoM, not seen him play since beginning of last year but he has come on massively since then it seems. Also thought that Elliot was fantastic, looks a lot stronger than last year. Lawless looks a right handful too! Can't wait for tomorrow now...Cos when the Jags go up to lift the Arr Craig Cup we'll be there
  7. Looks a decent signing and gives us another option up top. I am still a little worried that outside Doolan we don't have anyone with any experience of scoring goals in this division in our team (except perhaps for Erskine). To have a successful season you feel one of McGuigan, Elliot or Craigen will have to really step up and get us 10+ goals
  8. Are then any size restrictions for this? I have an image that I have been trying to upload (~1MB) both from my local machine and after uploading to ImageShack and each time it fails to do so
  9. I'm going to be up in Glasgow for this and have managed to rope in a number of Celtic supporting friends to join me. I've told them that with the the nature of the event they would be welcome in the Jackie Husband and be able to openly support Celtic (within limits of course!). Does anyone know if this is going to be the case or will all Celtic fans be moved to North/Main Stands and Airdrie fans moved to the North End of JH?
  10. I'd happily join in! Do you need to be a member of the Nomads and if so how does someone go about this?
