  1. Here are the results for the Luxembourg jury - AHAAHHAAHHHHHAHHAAAAHHHAHAHHAA Thanks, BB
  2. Chief Constable Gerald King-Espana? Any relation to Gerald "King of Spain" Britton? What is it about cops and crazy names? Anyone remember Glasgow detective Fletcher Catchpole or Scotland Yard's Jack Slipper back in the sixties/seventies?
  3. Has something like this already happened in respect of the shares held by The JAGS Trust - about a million I believe. I don't know the actual numbers of shares in circulation but a million shares in a small company sounds a lot to me, and it probably was at the time they were obtained. However that ownership now appears to convey very little influence, and would seem to confirm Stolenscone's concerns above.
  4. I've been around Thistle for over 30 years and I've never heard of any of these unelected "trustees". Does anyone on here know any of the PTFC Trust people named in their statement today ? The signatories are - Euan Couperwhite, Richard Beastall, Ali Campbell, Neil Drain, Fergus MacLennan, Randle Wilson.
  5. utterly shameful. complete fix. looks nothing like "fan ownership".
  6. That's me and Lady Skwerr joined TJF. Finally pushed over the edge by the atrocious treatment meted out by the 3BC twats.
  7. In the days of the shed, when opposition fans used to bait each other across the fence, I remember a Jags fan shouting back at a broad-spoken Aberdonian- "Speak English ya bampot, we gei'd up the Gaelic years ago".
  8. Because of their quietness, trolley buses used to be known as "The silent death". - a term which might be applied to electric cars these days. The saloon car heading down Firhill Road is probably a Wolesley 16/60, judging by the 2-tone colour scheme, and the "C" registration is from 1965. The invalid cars were made by a company called AC, who also made sports cars, most notably the AC Cobra.
  9. or, perish the thought......... Scunthorpe.
  10. can I vote A, please BB? Was away on hols and out of Internet range / data.
  11. If referees made better use of the "Liveware" Assistant Referees there would be less need for the technological ones.
  12. I'll go with A to maintain mid-table mediocrity ..... Thanks for running this competition, BB.
  13. A & H from my reading of the tea cups...... Thanks, BB
  14. Yes, courtesy of groundsman Davy Lyle in the nineteen nineties. He also did a cracking sunburst design radiating out from the centre circle. I seem to remember that the fun - loving SFA told him to stop because they were classed as illegal additional markings. Idiots.!
  15. weather forecast warning of snow this evening and overnight in Inversneck. Hope the game is on and that the travelling is safe for everyone.
  16. The twat has now apologised to Ian McCall and corrected himself to say that if Arbroath win it will put them 9 points ahead of Thistle. Am I wrong to suggest that it would only. be 8 points of a lead?
  17. I remember thinking very same thing when I won Adam Strachan's signed shirt......
  18. Only in a world where Trump became President and Johnston PM!
  19. Once more into the wide, blue yonder..... HHHA HAHH AHHA AHHA AHHH Thank you, BB
  20. co-commentator sounded a wee bit Killie-minded. "Offside goal," "fumbled save", etc.
  21. At the coo's tail, as usual - HAAHHHAAHHHHAHHAHHHH Thank you, BB
  22. Our own BB could have done much better! Any chance you could knock up a quick 6th entry?
  23. I'm with Scotty in concluding that my random guesses would be way worse than your methodical ones, BB, so I'll ditch my manual one and go with your 21st century automated "pin" and say - AAHHAAAAAAHHHHAHHHHAAAHHAHHHHH Many thanks for saving my few remaining brain cells.
